  1. As long as it agrees with mine, then post away my friend! I think the really interesting stuff is going to happen when SpaceX start doing exactly the same missions as NASA is doing, but cheaper, quicker and more efficiently. At that point there's going to be a lot of twitchy bums in seats at government level...
  2. Throw my weight around? Nope, but I’ll call a bullsh*tter out when I see one. Sorry if that offends you. It does tend to mean that I do pick up when someone consistently spouts nonsense, which I guess means it does look like I’m following you around. I guess if you want to stop me criticising you, then stop being quite so aggressive with your posts about the tinfoil hat stuff. If I don’t believe in what you say then so what? You don’t see me getting abusive towards people who follow a certain faith or not. That’s basically what you’re doing, and it won’t win you any favours here. What car I own is irrelevant. If you want to be picky though, I’d suggest my knowledge of Zeus is significantly higher than yours given I’ve been working with them for well over a decade now. And sorry Col. Genuinely sorry.
  3. Sorry, I posted as you did, mine was meant as a follow up to my own post a minute before Bad timing all round!
  4. This is my point though, if you’re going to have a attitude like that then that’s why no one is ever going to take you seriously.
  5. Wow. You’ve got issues dude. And that, I do believe.
  6. I’ll occasionally use a bit of DJSN spray or some Blackfire stuff which is better but I can’t remember the name now. I’ve got some SiRamik coating spray that’s supposed to be used as a sacrificial layer when doing coatings I prefer to use these days as a final top off.
  7. Which is exactly why I take zero notice of stuff like that. Treat people with contempt and that’s what you get in return. Give me a reasoned non-tinfoil hat argument and I’ll listen.
  8. DJSN is an excellent wax, if a little pricey, but a pleasure to work with. Red Mist isn’t a great sealant, but it is a superb glass cleaner! I need to get sone more actually, you’ve just reminded me.
  9. This is why I have little faith in HPCs, these guys are supposed to be experts but can’t figure out how to get suspension settings correct? Worrying.
  10. Brodit. The answer is always Brodit. Best brackets you’ll ever find for any vehicle.
  11. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-42980841 Going well for Tesla then But don’t worry, they’re totally going to make profits this year. Definitely.
  12. He wishes. And I bet he really does, too. I admire his aspirations, and he has some superb tech people working for him, but the guy is a weapons-grade bell end.
  13. What DJ Pro did you use?
  14. 255/35/19 285/35/19 As Nic already mentioned, just get those in MPS4S. Job's a carrot.
  15. Decent pads and discs will help. Exactly what ones did you buy? Brembo discs are generally good, but I don't rate their regular pads at all. It's very important to make sure you don't sit there with your foot on the brakes in the paddock when you've just come off track though, as this is what normally causes it. Also make sure you do a proper cool down lap, which is one lap without touching the brakes at all. Best way to clear a disc is either skimming them or you can try a bedding in procedure again.
  16. No idea what you're doing with your links lately fella, but that's just taking us back to the start of the page. https://cleantechnica.com/2018/02/03/munro-compares-tesla-model-3-build-quality-kia-90s/ That should work, I think.
  17. I’m struggling to even appreciate the engineering that went into that utter abortion of a PR stunt. I just don’t get the idea behind that at all.
  18. I’m so glad that Nissan are doing random things with the Z that takes a lot of money and engineering time to achieve for half a column of press space, rather than bothering to further the line of cars that’s increasingly being left behind by the competition. Good job, Nissan!
  19. No diesels allowed. An all rounder must also be fun, which discounts diesels
  20. Or maybe they just think they’re a crap addition to motorsport
  21. 911 ofc I guess you want something to go from track to the tip. It’s going to be one of the fast estates isn’t it really, so take your pick of German flavour.

    Insurance Help

If your policy renewed in August '17, and the damage was caused in May '17, then you're out of luck I'm afraid. I wouldn't even try claiming, as then you've lied on your policy inception and they can void the whole lot and you really don't want to be declaring you've had insurance cancelled next time... Assuming your dates are wrong (or I've read it wrong), then just bear in mind that policy will state that you must declare accidents within 24 hours or a reasonable time frame, so they may well choose not to pay out anyway and you'll still have the accident notification on there to cope with come August renewal anyway. Best have yoour story ready
  23. Well I'd love to know what their solution is going to be! Good result
  24. Because it’s an EV. This is the EV thread.

    Insurance Help

Well, you certainly can't claim for anything that happened before the current policy started: Remember, you're asked every year whether you've had any accidents regardless of fault, and that certainly includes having a bathtab dropped on the car. Hopefully you've not renewed your policy since May '17 either, else the same rule applies. The body shop will pretty much do whatever you ask them: Paint is paint, and metallic black isn't any more than metallic silver really so they'll just say it was painted, bill the insurer and that's that. And sure, they'll fit the spoiler too but you'll def be paying extra to them directly for that. When my Focus was damaged back in 2001 when someone drove into the back of me, I had the wing mirror I'd knocked myself re-painted at the same time. No extra charge apart from a bit of extra labour, insurer didn't care and bodyshop got a bit of extra beer money.
