  1. Good point, probably a mixture of both.
  2. Can they prove it was you who bought a ticket? As in, do they have your name, address and CCTV or a contract with your signature on?
  3. More than likely ex-demo cars.
  4. Oh you'd be surprised: The amount of threads I've seen with "I was passing Elises/Caterhams/GT3s all day in my Zed!" on here beggars belief!
  5. Half a litre will probably be okay, but if you checked it after refilling it (giving it plenty of time to settle of course) then I don't see how it could be overfull.
  6. The Zed isn't a particularly good base for a track car in the first place. Too heavy & too many electronics: It was designed as a road car which is where it excels. Sure, you can make it better on track, but an average Caterham is going to walk all over you for about 50% of the cost. Driver of said Caterham will also be very wet and very cold when it starts raining, but you get the point.
  7. That's okay, we know how incredibly wonderful and awesome we are
  8. Looks more like Universal to me.
  9. Does it have to be black? I know of a Temper orange car that's mechanically perfect that'll be for sale very shortly. Body work isn't perfect atm but will be 100% before sale or will be reflected in the price, and it's mechanically sound which is the most important thing.
  10. The difference is that the newer iPhones only need a 5mv current to charge, not 12mv like the older ones which is why you're having issues. Not ever having done the hack myself I couldn't tell you how to fix the issue, but that's where the trouble lies. I can tell you that an iPhone4 definitely can be charged in car from a newer charger.

Thank god someone else asked that, I was wondering if it was just me being dense!!!

    My New Car

I don't think it really exists
  13. Need to? No. Want to? Possibly. Depending on how free-flowing your new exhaust is you may or may not see some more gains, and the gains you might get from a new tune might not be worth the extra cost. Would I do it personally? I don't think I'd bother unless I were fitting HFCs at the same time.
  14. So the car was definitely pre-detonating but no fault code ever came up? I'd suggest getting your knock sensor changed as well while you're at it, as if the engine was knocking that badly for you to hear it then it should definitely have registered a code. When was your last oil change, and what oil was used?
  15. Honestly Waseem, you don't make life easy for yourself do you??!!

Comparethemoneysupermeerkat.com, pick the cheapest. There is no easy solution unfortunately, although due to them trying to corner the entire market at the moment Admiral/Elephant are the cheapest by far for many people. What are the 5 pts for if you don't mind me asking?
  17. Except it wasn't NewsCorp that bought that domain Real shame to see a paper with such history and hard-working staff go under because of this, especially when the investigation is still on-going. I hope that all the people involved manage to get jobs elsewhere.
  18. Best illusion ever? No chance. It's got a long way to go to beat this... Link NSFW

Am I the only person who had actually heard of this car before?!
  21. A late RX-7 is a pretty car, and I do like the look of an unmolested mkIV Supra. Mk2 MR2s have also passed the time test styling-wise, and blobeye Imprezas are great fun. But lust after them? No ta. All have horrible interiors and technology has moved on so much that I wouldn't want anything that old any more. Most of them have been in the hands of the chav with terrible results, and nowadays the only old stuff I would want is from the 60's and 70's and was either made here or in Germany. In their time the Jap cars mentioned by the OP gave you more bang for your buck than their contemporaries, but in doing so they left a lot of the character behind. Probably not a popular view on a Jap car forum, but it's a view I've held pretty much since 2004 when I realised that Jap metal left me cold.
