Looks like a boggo standard exhaust to me, no reason to get one when there other more proven systems on the market for the same money tbh. I’m sure it’s okay though, but nothing special.

My best mate did that on our last trip to Spa: walked to the counter in the services and in very nervous but adequate French asked for a ham and cheese toaster with a double espresso, only for the lady behind the counter to reply “thank you for trying, but I don’t speak French!” in perfect English I was in hysterics then when I tried to order a pizza next, as Mark slunk off very embarrassed to our table

I did 4400 miles around France, Andorra, spain, Gibraltar and Portugal a few years back in the 911 on my own. I 100% took a sleeping bag, trust me you’d rather have one and not need it… Aside from that, all you need is health insurance, breakdown cover, lots of spare fuses and spare power cables for your phone etc. Just enjoy it, long road trips on your own are ace and be prepared to adjust your route/hotels on the fly in case you fancy doing something different. Like me, when I went to Gibraltar unplanned

Rip it all out, fit something better (which isn’t difficult).

It’s a service. It’s a Nissan. It doesn’t require anything spectacular or some nifty bit of kit, so I’d be using whoever was local with a good rep, preferably a small garage that will appreciate the business.

They scream electric supercharger to me, but proven gains are proven gains. I suspect those gains are likely with supporting mods though, and I can think of better places to spend £300 (lighter exhaust, for example).

Not really, certainly nothing to worry about changing your mind on either way and again you’d get more if a difference choosing a different person to map it than anything else. If all you’re looking at doing is the exhaust, then they’re much of a muchness and tone/weight/price will make more of a difference when choosing.

Would be pointless if they did, any remap is only as good as the tuner doing it. I’m assuming you’re after remap figures anyway, as it’s pointless worrying about dyno plots on that kind of setup without one Expect what you’d get from any other usual cat delete/y pipe/back box combo and you’ll be there or thereabouts anyway, so 10-20bhp ish. The noise and emotion from that is what really makes it worthwhile though 👍

VED has nothing to with the upkeep of the roads. Hasn’t done for donkeys years. As such, drivers don’t directly pay towards the upkeep of the roads any more than cyclists do. There’s been a huge surge in cyclists on the roads in recent years, which in turn has led to more accidents. Whilst I may not agree with many of the recent changes to the HC, leaving a substantial gap between yourself and a vulnerable road user is not one of them. It’s simple common sense to protect your vehicle, as well as another human being.

Certainly not cool, but could be okay as long as it stays true to the actual story (which is cool) and doesn’t add generic love story/dying relative’s last wish nonsense into it.

Got exactly what he deserved, no excuse for driving like that. He had the whole of the road to use, didn’t do it and paid the price AFTER ignoring a course AND an FPN! Cretin of the highest order. If there is space to pass, use all of the road. If you can’t, then there isn’t space to pass full stop. Applies to overtaking anything.
