  1. Bit cheaper than the real thing i suppose.
  2. It's the same size BB shell for older square taper, shimano HT2, Isis etc. It'll be fine. If there is paint on the end face of the BB you'll have to get it faced off at a bike shop if you are putting an external bearing on it (shimano Hollowtech etc). It's probably had one on it already these days though. Frame should have been sorted by then, but keep an eye on the welds - especially if you go hucking off things!
  3. Not many BB30s outside of carbon frames. Tapered headtubes have only gone widespread in the last year or two.
  4. looks like a standard 1 1/8 head tube and It will almost certainly be a normal 68mm shell BB too. You should be ok. Maybe a different seat tube, but thats no biggy.
  5. Google images...... Yeah, though a manufacturer might be a good start though! couple of decent suggestions there, although I think I remember the lattice frame from maybe this: Memory's getting a bit hazy now, due to it being a quick 60mph drive by, but cheers guys!
  6. In more ways than one! A few years ago they had issues with shock mount brackets cracking on meta 5s, earning them the name "Commonfail" Apart from that they are very well respected. Any lighter than your marin?
  7. Haha, For Sale mate, not F***ed!
  8. Hi motorbike type people! A small task for you: I've never been a massive fan of bikes, despite being an obvious crossing point between push bikes and cars. But I spotted a bike for sale on the side of the road that was very tasty. (not buying it or anything, so don't get too excited! ) Sadly the best description I can come up with is; modern looking/a bit angular, red, unfaired, and possibly the only useful bit of information - it had a single sided swingarm. Any ideas?
  9. Bummer mate, plenty of jobs going in the renewables sector if thats any help.
  10. Will also fit Nismo V1 bumpers of any year.
  11. No, and no I'm afraid. Just get a tomtom or a stereo with nav built in.

    Bumper Materials

Material only becomes a problem if you intend hitting things! Urethane bumpers are more flexible, don't know about the weight though.
  13. Hoping to get down to Oulton next year, looks great.
  14. Woop whoop! Welcome back Al! Anything planned.....?
  15. After last years hiatus, I'm getting a bit over-excited!
  16. Shouldn't take long to find a home mate, good luck!
  17. Dont know what you mean not understanding Andy, I've never had a problem Glad it passed with flying colours Must be in your genes mate!
  18. Bit of a collection of posts this. Just collected Zeddy back from it's 3rd birthday service and 1st MOT. As you would hope, it passed with flying colours. I used the Motul oil and filter won at Wales, and it came to £170 all in. The MOT was of course a bit more pricey being a main dealer, but it saves two visits to different garages. Whilst there I made a query regarding the well known P2/P3 pricing difference (only £20 at my dealer), and after much checking of the paperwork and scratching of heads they agreed that I most likely could have next years service at the P2 price It's only 20 quid, and then there's the optional brake fuild change on top too anyway, so they'll still get enough out of me! Prior to the service, I've treated MTZ to it's yearly detailing session. Foam, Megs car wash, Bilt Hamber soft clay bar, some Poorboys Black Hole, a different sealant this year; Chemical Guys Jetseal 109, and good old rock hard Colinite 915 to finish. Hoping this combination should be good for another year once i've had the chance to put another couple of wax layers on it, it's certainly beading well today going to and from the dealers! Finally I'd also like to add what a pleasure it is, and will continue to be, being part of this club. I've meet loads of great people over the last couple of years, and would like to think I've made some extra friends, some life-long hopefully, and thats an optional extra that I wasn't expecting. Thanks to all, and here's to the next three years!
  19. XT again. Used to be a full system, but the original granny is ally and doesn't last. Steel Deore one is all of 50g heavier or something. Middleburn is second new middle, just thought i'd try one.
  20. Cool beans mate! I'd love to go out there sometime for the North Shore MTB'ing:
