Nice big ride today, decent early start and a lap of Buttermere and Crummock water, combined with a trail up Honister pass so I could do the monster looking bridleway on the south side of Fleetworth pike.

I was a good four hours all in, complete with a tea and cake stop in Buttermere, a good sprinkling of pushing and a few Herdys
The big Fleetworth decent indeed proved to be a monster, thankfully i was on an appropriate bike! Really techy in places, but plenty of rewards for good line choice and balls of steel in some sections.
Finished with a lovely dip in Crummock to wash the sweat and dirt off, brilliant!
