  1. Top work and attention to detail as always Paul.
  2. Remnants of "Irene" and associated low pressure will reach Scotland on friday/saturday. Hopefully be on its way soon after!
  3. The genuine ones touch the boot and have a foam trim around edge of the tips. The spoiler you have was fitted by my painter and it was a replica which never had the foam around the tips. Must have modified the design by 2008 then, as mine's nowhere near:
  4. I just assumed from photos that all the ones that touched were the copys! Guess maybe not.
  5. You appear to have forgotten the rules Ian:
  6. Depending on the materials absorbancy, you could use some proper 2 part epoxy like araldite. Will need held in place untill it cures though.
  7. I suspect this won't be resolved till next week now with the bank holiday. I would expect the trader to fix damage they caused free of charge, and as the other blemishes were probably either a lack of prep or poor technique, then they should probably suck that up too. If this wasn't a cash in the hand job, you definitely have the right to have it resolved to your satisfaction. Keep us informed.
  8. Mine was factory fitted and there is about an inch between the tips and the boot!
  9. Good old Whinners again today, sun came out eventually, and generated lots of steam from the wet undergrowth.
  10. Were you up at honister today?
  11. It the same torrential front we had a couple of days ago mate. It's spinning north though, so you should be seeing improvement soon
  12. I washed a hire car once Good write up though Al.
  13. Have a great trip Ian. Germany is great, and away from the tourist traps still cheap by UK standards as you have found out!
  14. Further to what I've just told Graham on the phone, this doesn't affect me and Fran, as we are staying in one of the holiday inn expresses in Edinburgh for two nights. It's for free too, as i had some points to use
  15. In fairness that Mini can be hustled incredibly quickly, and the BMW is no slouch either on track. You may not be going as quick in the Zed, but you'd be having more fun And the Zed looks better than both too.
  16. What next.................. Team Group Buy ?? Only if its a direct swap! Ain't got no dollar old boy
  17. Lol, really? To be honest I like the soft top more than the 370 coupe, I'd definatly fancy a test drive.
  18. Still looks like its about to snap in the middle
  19. Took my old work mate Gary for a spin round Whinlatter blue yesterday and nearly killed him! Been a long time since he did any fitness work at all, but he had the enthusiasm, and on Frans borrowed bike (he's only a wee lad) had a good time. Hoping to get him out again, but he's just became a dad recently, so passes out are few and far between! Hopefully I haven't broken him!
  20. There's still time before the Hoon..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=smurf+stickers
  21. Hold on a sec while I rob that post office....
  22. Since that presentation was made, Myspace has collapsed and Facebook has more than 750 million active users. 50% of which log on to Facebook on any given day. I'd like to see more teachers coming into the profession in their later professional careers, instead of straight from school themselves.

I don't commute or do many motorway journeys that would utilise cruise, so i don't miss it. Might do if i get to europe at some point, but its not going to be every year, so i'll just put up with it!
