Retro bike maintainence today, a Headshok equipped Cannondale. General clean up, replace a couple of bits of cable outer, and index gears. Headshok is, er, interesting by modern standards, and the head tube is 1.5 inches or maybe larger, so you'd need to find a reducer to put a modern fork in!

If i had the money i'd take the R8 any day of the week. Just needs a fruitier exhaust if the one at Knockhill is anything to go by.

Zed handbrake is rather weak as standard sadly, always leave it in gear.

Well it's only one factor of the cars isn't it? Cayman does quite well considering its "only" a 6 cylinder NA car. - and not far behind the GT3!

80% down to tyres and a modicum of driving style. Why do you want to lug all that weight around anyway, plenty of more practical machinery around.

I didn't learn long division until I went to college, the lecturer was great and showed me a different method and I cracked it. It really is like riding a bike.

The paint is soft, so don't get too aggressive with the polishing!

Depending on your budget, you could alway rent something for the day/weekend? Mileage limits can be a bit tight though. You can get a F430 for the day and 100-150 miles for £800. £1500 for a weekend. Not cheap, but at least nobodies looking over your shoulder and split between two it looks a lot more attractive..
