  1. Worthless without a remap, and even then gains are slight.
  2. Hmm, not much point in a 1000bhp engine that you can't use fully. I guess thats why the Veyron took so long to develop.
  3. Obviously a good choice, but you will notice the increase in weight!
  4. Obviously not busy enough to discount it entirely then!
  5. no ? whats that about!?!? It's ok, sticker albums aren't as popular these days! I had loads when I was wee!
  6. Good luck with the Bimmer Ho, don't be a stranger
  7. Lol, does the word Panini mean anything to you?
  8. Hello again Dom Good to see you enjoyed our wee drive out too.
  9. Happy Birthday mate, break out the Cider!
  10. Thats part of the weight saving gone then! If you are thinking of having any creature comforts, the CR isn't the elise for you. Not that thats a bad thing, The CR is only 24kg lighter to begin with, so is a "full fat" Elise much of a compromise? And not just in the summer, makes demisting in the winter much faster too.
  11. If you want to do actual work, why not just take your 500 sheets and get a laptop?
  12. Not a car. Also not an original post! Never mind...
  13. Are you setting up the South West Corral again?
  14. Would have thought a standard touring pack equipped elise would be more what you wanted. The club racer is more for people who want a proper basic back road and track car thats cheap to run. Although at only 5 miles each way you could put up with it, I'd want the air con!
  15. Sounds like you need to get a man in with some test gear tbh.
  16. Vin plate and reg in the post for your stolen motor!
  17. Yes maybe, but the spirit of the original question was about if each following door was faster than the one before.
  18. No rooms available then, I'm sure Amanda will be happy to bagsie that if you are going to kip at home Certainly leaves us with more space in the car if we dont need camping gear! No no mate, I'll be camping no doubt, but Fran was too busy studying last year, and presumably, next year too, so she will likely be staying at home again. We would probably work it the same way we are doing it when Frans parents come for christmas. We take the sofa bed in the spare room so Fran can stay on the PC all evening, and the guests take our bed. Simples! You can stay no problem, I'll get damp in the tent, and Fran will look after you softies at home, then we meet up at Muncaster on saturday morning.
  19. Looks too fussy, and being a touch screen, hard to use while driving. Also notice that the don't show you the dog ugly car you have to buy to get it anyway!
  20. Did someone mention Chez Kirkby? Only one bedroom available for that date at the moment, but there is plenty of dossing space in the garage! I'll volunteer to do a run up the A595 to Muncaster Castle and the Owl/Birds of Prey centre if you want. I promise everyone that we will actually stop there this time instead of heading up my end whilst trying to fatten everyone up Try and sort out say a 10 - 10.30pm leave, lunch at muncaster, then people are free to either take a ride on the Ratty, or come eat me out of house and home etc! To everyone camping at Heaves - accept the fact that the Lakes, like Wales, can get bad weather any time of year and come prepared accordingly! I was alone in the tent last year with a Thermarest and a 3 season down bag and was toasty all night.
