If you are wanting a RX8 type car, surely some sort of VTEC (Yo!) lump must be also be considered? 1) Quality driving experience? ....check! 2) Bombproof engine? .....check! 2) Iffy MPG? .....check! 3) Lacks the torque to pull the skin of a rice pudding? .....check! DC5 Integra? JDM Civic?

Hmm, I'm not personally convinced that we have enough hard tracking members to make it worthwhile having a separate section. Most of the above points are aready covered in their respective sections (mods, media, traders forums). Maybe if the car was more sports orientated in the first place like an Elise or Porsche we would have a higher proportion of track-goers.

Might be worth a trip down to Fosters at Disington if they're still going mate. They always had a good rep, and half an hours advice would probably be money well spent.

If you can't pull any extra slack on that cable it will need to be replaced For 8.5kw I would recommend 10mm2 depending on the cable run. Great minds and all that... Had a quick google, and they do make a 9.5kw version of that shower. Plus i'd be temped to future proof it if the cable ends up being replaced.

Normal these days. 9K is even slightly on the cautious side. Plenty of cars about with variable or 20k sevices. Zeds engine isn't particularly highly stressed at about 75bhp per litre.

Maybe down to bad contact or loosening in the back of the switch, either way, it needs remade at the very least. It's a double pole switch, which is fine, but is it really fused too?

Looks like its got damp and arced or overheated. how many KW is your shower? cable size looks about right, but hard to tell from the pic. IMO it shouldn't be passing through a fused spur at all, It should be fed straight from a dedicated MCB with RCD protection. edit: also your back box is not earthed!
