  1. You're some kiddy you are. Overall, I'd say C-. Its a pass, but only just. Engine saves it.
  2. Congrats from another Zed marra! Hope you have a great day, we'll have a Marras Run out in the new year
  3. Would take this over a Focus ST/RS probably: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3444482.htm
  4. Personally, I find driving gloves are perfectly complimented by a pair of plus fours.
  5. It's been waaaaay to long since the bike was out, but work and doing the house up have got in the way for 6 weeks or so. Today it managed to stop raining for a bit, so I went to the lovely all-weather trails at Whinners. Took it easy, and just enjoyed being out. There has been some repair work on the north loop descent, mostly building up the erosion drops on the other side of roots, and reprofiling a few berms. Couple of trees down on the trail at one point too, but I don't imagine they'll be there for long.
  6. ...but in a non-incriminating sort of way... None of what I read was incriminating. He said that the GT-R left him for dead and accelerated away from him up to about 100mph. Nothing criminal about that, unless your the GTR driver. Thanks dude. Appreciate the support. I'm not after kicking off a slanging contest or any such though The re-post was tongue in cheek more than anything else.. hehe. I thought the post was safe but a mod (presumably AK350) disagreed. There we go. It's not free speech on forums, it's up to the mods. What's done is done :) Like I said: The zed was fun today: At least you took it well. Obviously as the main 350Z owners club in the UK we have to be sensitive about certain types of "fun" if you see what I mean. I moved it as a precaution until the team decided if it could stand or not.
  7. The 350Z Owners Club - Fun at Highly Legal Speeds!
  8. Top reasons for non-spinningness: 1) Too windy. Chances are the past few days it's been well over 30m/s wind speed in some areas, so the turbines shut down and feather the blades to avoid structural damage. They will normally still turn to face the wind though. 2) Grid work/maintenance. Would require whole park shut down for that. 3) Faults or service. Recognisable by just one or two being off usually. They don't turn them off after having met some "quota", they keep producing, but whether the power produced gets used is all down to the dizzying quota and purchasing system the energy companys and government have. As some articles have mentioned, renewable schemes can get paid for "unused" energy and load balancing, but it's all contract stuff and I'm sure Chris knows more about that side, hatred notwithstanding! If the average business park turbine is only 50-100kw, then I would say yes, they are pointlessly small! One of mine is 5MW, and we have 30.
  9. Nice one Jay, its a minter.
  10. Quite easily with decent tyres and a right foot not made of lead

    ouch :(

Hardly keeping to the manufacturers intended use is he?
  12. I will phone a friend, and get him to translate for me.. aaaiiii!
  13. Vs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henri_Coand%C4%83 In any case, it isn't self sustaining, and it's not axial flow, so for that reason Jimmy - ahm oot!
  14. You could put at least the first one here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=32682&hilit=inspirational&start=360
  15. Point number 1 - Jet Engine - Did he balls. He made an engine that drove a centrifugal compressor with a four cylinder motor and, critically, given the pictures association with 747s and mass air transit, it didn't burn fuel in the compressed airstream. The rest are outside my interests, but WTF has Steve Jobs got to do with cybernetics? He was a business man. HTH.
  16. An outwardly happy and successful man does not commit suicide for no reason. Something here stinks. Now why would I not be surprised? http://www.levesoninquiry.org.uk/ RIP Gary Speed.
