  1. You want to go a bit further east into that drought zone!
  2. Went for a nice gentle XC ride today in the glorious sunshine. Gentle because my shoulder still hurts from a wee "off" a couple of weeks ago. The route was to follow the C2C route from Keswick out to Threlkeld, then back along the old coach road along Threlkeld common. I think it was about 15 or 17 miles all in.
  3. Living in the arse end of nowhere Dom, I would expect you will have to travel. Jays was a wrap wasn't it?
  4. Good show so far this week, Brutus and meteor powered Bentley are amazing!
  5. I think you're somewhat off target on that definition mate Nice that you have a decent car park, just loads of silly bikers driving sheds at ours
  6. 370 roadster defo looks better than the 350, I'm sure you're very happy
  7. Noooooo dont say that lol. Im sure i will have a little review and some pics all ready after tomorrow morning. Then again i might be out all da on the road Not forgetting the mandatory avatar pic update!
  8. Well considering you only really removed a slight restriction in the exhaust, and you already had it mapped previously, I think any gain was pretty good.
  9. If you like the car, you could try some different seats like recaros?
  10. Yes you can get the 313 in convertible form, but they are thin on the ground. If it has the old bonnet it's probably just a very late registered one from the back of a barn or something.
  11. This is Mr Rice, what do you think?
  12. Depends if you want hands on work or something more office based. Engineering can cover a wide range of stuff from design and installation to safety cases and management systems. Ultimately this can lead to more management based roles and you can quite easily see a career without ever picking up screwdriver!
  13. Agree, Zane makes my mon-thurs drive home a doddle, then when I'm off, Mark and Stuart Marconie on 6music afternoons are great too. They are probably two of the very few at the BBC who have appreciated being kicked out of london up to the stupid "media city" at Salford.
  14. Don't mind a bit of R1, but 6 Music all the way for me. Won't be sorry to see the back of Mills though, even if Greg James is a total wet banket.
  15. Primewell tyres??? DAN! (just joking! But you'd better budget for some rubber you've actually heard of! )
  16. Next years calendar hasn't even been thought about yet, but I for one wouldn't mind one of these in it. On the note of the calendar, my car is featured for October 2012,where can i get this calendar? Went on sale last month, so has probably sold out by now, but PM Martainmac and see if he has any left.
  17. Saab segment was really good for a brand I've had little exposure to. I did set a personal speed record delivering a hired 93turbo though when I was at uni.
  18. Next years calendar hasn't even been thought about yet, but I for one wouldn't mind one of these in it.
  19. Calender. (with cropping )
  20. No try, there was no convincing downward pressure on the ball looking at the video.
  21. Clio 197s with the cup chassis are rock hard though, way stiffer than a normal Zed. Maybe try a non-cup?
  22. As its for the lady, I would say the mini. There's 2 million variously personalised ones to choose from, and the depreciation will be less than the VXR. She probably won't care if its a drivers car or not, so no point getting a hot hatch really. I'd also consider a polo of some type, the mk5 i had on hire last year was very nice, and rode very well over the knackered b-roads round here, even in 1.4 mode.
