  1. Best fix is an aftermarket stereo. All Bose stuff is just marketing.
  2. I thought it was shire at first with long hair! Was it the shorts?
  3. Who he??? He needs a few more posts before he can start just turning up at other members houses! http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=9638
  4. WRT Lincolnbaggie, I belive Neil is busy with work/life etc, but he hasn't been replaced as we seem to be coping ok really, the board is as you say, quite self-moderating most of the time, and we're leaving the space for him to come back if he becomes un-busy. REOs are the easy bit, if you want to be one please say so! Especially in some of the less well served areas, PM the team and current incumbent and I'm sure we can sort it out.
  5. Big ring doesn't see much use up here! Not enough flat bits I certainly don't miss it, and if you have 2x10 I dare say you'll miss it even less. I've got this but in black:
  6. Legs can't cope? You only loose the big ring. I've got a normal granny, and a 36T middle. Considering how low the BB is on a five, I would say a bash is essential.
  7. Not particularly a fan of them, but I can't see why you would choose one over the equivilent Renaultsport Clio/Megane? Still practical, froggy, but with actual motorsport underpinnings.
  8. Which is basically what we do now non? The regional organisers could probably do with a refresh now and again, but you don't have to be a REO to sort a meet. I'm fine with the way things are now, but then I would say that wouldn't I?
  9. I'd vote for Mr P. Rice to be a mod any day of the week.
  10. I bet you're not allowed to drive it without leather trousers on.
  11. As the vote to basically privatise parts of the NHS was just pushed through the other week, I would advise everyone to seriously consider getting some private cover, as the service as we or our parents knew it is effectively over.
  12. A rover coupe parked outside Halfords? Ahhh, them were the days.....
  13. What did the owner think?
  14. As if Colin! The actual purpose of the enquiry is to try the engine out, as there are rumours the new Panda 4x4 will be offered with it this winter, which would make it veeeery interesting to us.
  15. +1 That was my first thought. Maybe time for a clean out and re-gas.
  16. Just dropped off the trusty Grande Punto work-mobile at the Fiat garage for a service this morning, I enquired as to the possibility of getting a Twinair engined vehicle for the courtesy car. The initial phonecall had been fairly positive, but today I was informed that I could only take the (500) twinair for a normal test drive, and an accompanied one at that! The coursesy car was just a boggo 1.2 Panda. Now then, when I was looking to buy the zed, the Nissan dealer basically gave me the keys to to a nigh-on 300hp sports car and asked how many hours I wanted it for! It just seems ridiculous to me that it doesn't work that way for a wee fiat with 85hp...
  17. While it's there Darren, can you do a startup and a few revs on camera? Brooom brooom!
  18. Don't know about the Zed, but on some cars the chain tensioner is operated by the oil pressure, which there is of course none on startup.
