  1. As Jay mentions above, plus as you are moving the contact patch further out from the steering axis you increase the leverage generated by road cambers, generally felt as a slightly larger tendancy to tramline. You might feel it a little bit, probably depends on how much time you've spent behind the wheel, and how numb you are!
  2. Chuff all on the block apparently, probably just the odd spark plug or something.
  3. Driven the early naughties 93 and 95, plenty of pull on the motorway - licence losing cruise a piece of cake if you want to press on. P.S. Zedley went in the post today- sorry he's too late for the Zeds farewell though.
  4. Watched it on PH this morning too, great advert for Mercedes, nice to see a G wagon being put to its intended use instead of the Chelsea school run!
  5. Anyone see the cycle show on itv4 last night? A touch flakey shall we say? I'll give it a couple of episodes, but not a great start. Next time boys, do it in a place where the guests can hear each other speak!!! I've no connection with Radioshack, but 2 out of 3 isn't bad! http://www.probikekit.com/uk/clothing/team-clothing/radioshack-nissan-trek-cycling-jersey-2012.html
  6. Do the Zs have a CD changer port considering there's 6 CDs in the headunit? No. American zeds had an additional port in the back of the head unit.
  7. I believe we gave them the money though JustGiving. Mike or Chris should know the details, but I don't know if we got an individual thanks.
  8. Staying at a lovely b&b i've been to before in Crook nr. Durham, but thanks. It crossed my mind Graham, but to be honest its pretty much a holiday really, so i'd feel a bit daft going on hols for charity!
  9. I lost the very tip of a finger to a disc once, was a very clean cut! I bet you'll only do it once though eh? Got the Trek reasembled this morning and gave the 36s a wiper clean, not much dirt but the sponges were Alps clay coloured!
  10. It was over a ton, but I just didn't have the time or inclination to do it myself. Back at work on Sunday, and then end to ending after that! Had a JOGLE training ride today - 50 miles with hopefully over 80% load (it must have been 40lbs!), averaged 13 mph, so thats looking good for the trip
  11. Very nice, just need some dirt jumps in the yard
  12. Lol, spend spend spend! I got mine back from the shop yesterday, just need to build it back up now. Realised it looks a lot older than when I bought it!
  13. 350s and 370s all start with a fast idle from cold. Totally normal.
  14. Cheers Col, I find Sudocream works well, plus it's dirt cheap and waterproof! None of this £15 a tube nonsense. PS, if anyone want's to do a leg with me, you know where I am...
  15. Just you save some for August matey!
  16. Must be due to start appreciating soon, especially as lots of the standard ones are rotting away.
  17. I'll be passing on the other side of Sheffield, by the Peak district I think.
  18. Racing puma is an exceptional shout. Great cars and cheap to run. Any Puma, just check for rusty rear arches and just change the bushes as they wear out!
  19. Always ready for a beer Stew! (You can have a Irn Bru shandy or something ) A tennents lager, famous grouse whisky, Irn bru shandy. Done! Don't you go falling asleep in my tent!
