I would like to see the hot tub Who told you about the hot tub? It was great BTW, I nearly passed out after staying in too long though!

Day 13: wells to newton abbot. Did about 80 miles today to get to my mate mikes house. Weather stayed good all day, although looking at the forecast, tomorrow is looking really really bad!

I thought all the late HR Zed's had Sat Nav fitted; Even a base model car had Sat Nav I thought, I haven't seen a late model without Sat Nav. I'll try and keep it short . Up until the introduction of The HR, every single 350Z had to be ordered from a main dealer and you would specify what options you wanted to be added. After the financial crash, which roughly coincided with the introduction of HR update model, Nissan and their dealership network only brought in 350Z's with the SatNav fitted. You could in general pop along to your friendly Nissan dealer, hand over your cash and drive away with one a few days later...if you didn't fancy one with a SatNav, then you simply placed an order and waited a few months, dealerships figured out that folks would rather pay the extra £1,400 or so rather than wait for an indeterminate time. I worked this out after a conversation with a Nissan main dealer in 2008 when he told me that he could get me one within a week but it'd come with a factory SatNav Pete Indeed, I had to special order mine from the factory, so of course the nav option remained unticked as my tom tom did just as good a job for one tenth the price.

Day 11: Birmingham to Cirencester. 60 damp but quiet miles, good old Sundays! Day 12 : Cirencester to Wells. Another 60 occasionally damp miles, are you seeing a pattern here? Both days it has got out nice in the evenings, so can't complain too much. Only another 3 days to go now I think, I can almost smell the end! Newton abbot tomorrow, I'm staying at my old university mate mikes house, its a proper bachelor pad, and he's even built a hot tub since I was last down there 3 years ago, so can't wait for that!

JOGLE Day 8: leeds to Wetton in the south peaks. Another day of many hills! Great cycle paths out of Bradford though, and made good time though derbyshire. Total mileage about 80. JOGLE Day 9: Wetton to Birmingham. Appointment at Ians house for a day off and a bbq Fairly short day of 70 odd miles on good paths and back roads - well, at least until you get to Brum anyway! Weather still fantastic, very warm though, many cold drinks and ice pop stops needed. JOGLE Day 10: Rest day!!

For comparason: Also £75k, and a few more miles: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3106686.htm Gee, let me think....

I'm avoiding the problem by cycling everywhere My running mate bought one of those battery assisted bikes for making the rural pubbing at home easier!

New Boxster is lush, I expect the price difference will increase to the GT86 though, I think the GT will have some discounts after the initial hub-bub dies down.

JOGLE Day 7: The Crook to Leeds 84 mile time trial! Needed to get here before my Sis went on her night shift, so made full advantage of the nice weather and flat roads. Really good cycling today, and especially thanks to whoever organised the peloton to help me out down the A61 between Ripon and Harrogate The guys let me draft on the back although the pace was quite hot, the assistance let me keep up. It certainly dispatched the miles to Harrogate fast enough. Averaged well over 13 miles per hour today, so probably the fastest day of the trip so far, maybe even halfway now, and if not, it definitly will be tomorrow.

Day 6: A good 80 odd miles from Galashiels to Crook, near Durham. Quite a good ride, up until the last couple of hours where I had to start crossing all the tyne and wear valleys, there's dozens! Not joking, I must have done 10000ft climbing today. Taking the path of least resistance tomorrow, shadowing the A1 to get to my sisters in Leeds.

It was at times Vik, the forth north shore to the bridge was a nightmare. The path was mostly unsurfaced, and the route finding was hit and miss The afternoon was ok, but started raining again just before Galashiels. Oh yes, and it was 100 miles dead on the cycle computer... Arrived at Galashiels at 5.30pm Miles: 100 Inches of rain: 1.5 Legs: 7/10 Arse: 5/10 Cheered myself up with a good steak and rhubarb crumble for tea. Allegedly the weather is improving from tomorrow...

Well guess what? Viks laptop was dead, so it'll just have to wait! I can give a brief overview of the trip so far, bit I'm on the phone, so typing will be minimal, I've copied in my faceache updates here: JOGLE day 1. 40 damp and cloudy miles from Wick to John o Groats and back. Trench foot seems a possibility at this rate. JOGLE Day 2: Wick to Fortrose, 90 miles. I haven't got Wiggins legs, but I've sure got his tan lines. JOGLE Day 3: Fortrose to Braemar, almost 100 miles I think. Put in 11 hours in the saddle, and the Caingorms didn't even start till hour 6! Biggest ride ever, longest day on a bike ever. JOGLE day 4 - Braemar to dundee. An easyish day at last, 50 miles from the hills to the coast, so plenty of downhill! 3 course dinner, washing done, and a real bed - Big thanks Vik and Gary. back to the mileage tomorrow, another 90 of them.

Arrived in Dundee today, day 4. Going to Viks house in a min so will update better then, bit here was the start on Thursday evening, yes the weather was grim that night:

LEJOG Prologue (Day 0) - 64 miles to Carlisle done, curry for tea by the look of it. Come on! Approximate route: View Larger Map

Just getting ready for the day 0 Prologue! I'm cycling from mine to my mates house in Carlisle ready to get the train tomorrow morning. about 60 miles up the coast I think, a bit wet and wind is blowing a bit today, but mostly southerly so that should be good. Hopefully not the last tail wind i'll have for the next two weeks...
-
Someone got a sharp looking Zed then. Hope they look after it

Shame about Amandas knee, I must get down S. Wales sometime, maybe next time we see Frans parents. I had a sesh round Whinners with a lad from work today, the weekend has been handy, I should have been at work, but sat, sun, and now tomorrow are all weather days! So will probably try and get some bonus road miles in tomorrow. What a great job I have

First thing the trader will do is cash it in anyway. You might as well do it first.

Colour combo would look more acceptable as a roadster I feel. -
It that on the 91RON cordial the Americans call unleaded though? Might be a best cast scenario.
