  1. Well its putting waves of wet sleet down here, but hopeful for some good conditions further inland on the hills this week. Better start getting the crampons out the cupboard
  2. Vast differences in car control there, think I would definitely want a limit handling day under my belt first.
  3. I turned down overtime to do that, I think it was a fair trade! In fact, it actually cost me money cos my tyre fell to bits 3/4 of the way round Can you do any ride without a mechanical? One day I will.... Hope that forecast snow turns up this weekend too

  7. *sigh* Might as well get this bit out the way....
  8. Look what everyone missed! Bummer being at work 9 to 5 isn't it!
  9. Welcome Jim! Now, if you can just keep her steady while we all go on holiday...
  10. Totally would Daz, if we weren't at opposite ends of the country!
  11. Atari VCS - The one with the wood veneer trim(!) Atari ST Every Gameboy iteration up to the DS N64 - The Golden Eye machine, hardly saw any other game. PS2 - Once the PS3 was announced! Basically only bought it to play Shadow of the Colossus and Burnout 3. Various PCs. My main games machines for 10 years. Essentially packed it all in now though
  12. I know we shouldn't bring this up again but you really have got to comment when someone mentions it................what...........the FOOK was that monstrosity. The editor of MaxPower needs literally fisting to death for unleashing that monstrosity upon the world. It looked like a blind, syphallitic monkey had welded it together using only its own pubes and bodily fluid. +1 It's better for us all it was stillborn and not allowed to defile our precious countryside.
  13. Might just have to pop down the big smoke in June and take a camera, never seen any of this stuff in real life. As a side note, There's millions of pounds worth of unpaid congestion charges and traffic tickets outstanding on foreign owned cars, but as I've enjoyed that privilege driving abroad myself, I can't criticize!
  14. Err, no. Now it just looks like there's been a nuclear strike a few streets over!
  15. Would have actually liked to see more of the logistics of getting the cars flown over on the plane, bet thats not cheap either.
  16. Just been reading this in the saturday paper. The main backer is a Belarussian online gambling billionaire who has made $1M available for costs (presumably on for a nice return), and expert valuation puts the planes at at least £1.5M each if the condition lives up to the hype. JCB are also providing a digger to help shift the 40 feet of mud on top of them too
  17. Well, having seen the view from your house Dave, I can understand why you want to watch a screen so much!
  18. Well its hardly surprising when London is one of the worlds biggest tax havens. They would have the same problem in Monaco if there was any space!
