I've got an A70 - kind of compact with full manual settings. It too has taken a beating, and taking AA batterys (i used rechargeables) and regular CF cards has been super cheap to run. Plug and play with windows, no special software required.

Screen is a bit glitchy now, but after reading that above i think i might try a "repair"

You would be well advised to get it on a bodyshop jig and check the chassis isn't bent. Professional help of some kind must surely be mandatory?

Love the idea of keeping it NA Adam I would much rather do that than the turbo route.

The jealousy is made ten times worse by the fact that the Z is so hard to tune without spending mega-bucks!

That XBox is one of the earlier ones which does not have HDMI. You need an XBox360 Arcade or Elite for it to have HDMI

 

As for a £50 HDMI, personally I would only spend £5 on a short one at most.

Short run + digital signal = cheapest cable you can find

The industry still likes you to think that you get the same picture improvements that you used to buying mega cables for analogue signals, but you just don't!

Oh, and +1 on the on the elite and arcade having HDMI.

Wasn't too keen on them, but a friend bought the equivilent clio and its really quite good, the recaros are great. He deleted the decals though!

Yeah, probably! skirted round it cos there were much wider streets that were in total human gridlock!
