I'm not saying i was speeding on the day, but i did nearly have a fright when we hadn't seen a 40 sign in absolutely ages and we nearly convinced ourselves it had changed back to NSL without us noticing, especially as we weren't near any settlements. There we no cars in front to check us so we nearly upped the speed onto a straight only to see a scamera van at the far end, causing me to brake back down from the 50 i had crept up to. I thought that as they were basically waiting for us round the route, they were hoping to bag a load of the usual easy 46 in a 40 stuff as above. And i think that just isn't cricket!

Nearly there.... I'm drove past a van on the way out of Cumbria doing about 75-80 on a big straight dry A-road. And of course it wouldn't be unusual to recieve anything from the police infested wales run! I will be very happy if the trip was point free!

Back on topic: Mountain biking here too, plus other general walking/climbing outdoors-ness. Also like to mess about in the kitchen, and bake bread by hand (which takes a lot of time!) And occasional Zedding of course!

I don't think it was a large proportion, and even so, very few were really bad. Some engines are just designed to sup oil like it was going out fashion, the RS4 being a major recent offender i belive.

What happened to Vovlo design? they used to produce some great designs before they went box-tastic. That's very tasty!

Well most base in FA. There are a few of us heading up North on the Monday after the main Hoon. This is an open invitation for all to join in if you fancy going WAY up north for a day or two! Whats your plan Stew? If the sunday route is going to be like last years surely it would be better to stay in Ullapool sunday night, rather that schlepping all the way back to FA. Is there any ideas for sundays route yet?
