  2. I think he'd been over indulging in the green room, defo not sober!
  3. I would say the Vreds. Excellent value for the performance.
  4. Needs replaced with a car that doesn't look like the cardboard box cars i made as a kid! I know Stan! Needs must hey? I've just chosen to be financially ruined by keeping mine!

  9. I suspect thats the majority of your answer. What make were they?
  10. Wahey! glad to hear it at last Martin. Good job you haven't missed any roaster weather in the meantime.
  11. thanks much appreciated! Isn't that a bit of a slur round here now after Chesterfields experience? hmm i dont know quite how to take that tbh. I think it should be taken as the "Good Jaguar Design Ideas and Innovation" rather than "Money Grabbing Don't Give A Cr@p About Customers" Jaguar.... Correct! I suppose its the sales end thats letting the side down.
  12. thanks much appreciated! Edited at the request of Huisky.

    Winter Time

Generally an expensive garage ornament here, but we're going away next weekend to Hereford and then Minehead, weather or no weather!
  14. Don't worry Stan, I'll stand up and disapprove of your choice! But like in the best Evo magazine style, there's always need of a chase car to carry the camera gear and sticky buns eh? Hope that G37 works out sometime, they look pretty nice. How much longer is the baby mate?
  15. Good effort mate, some assembly required eh?
  16. yeah, got News24 on now. Seaton is now an island, they'll have to make rafts out of Jam sandwiches to get across (local joke, wheres Jammy007 when you need him)
  17. Don't worry, all ok here! Few bridges down at Workington and the Jennings Brewery at Cockermouth is going to be out of action for a while (disaster). Shame about that Copper who was on the bridge when it went, horrible conditions.
  18. Good on you for getting an apprenticeship mate, thin on the ground these days. What company are you with? I saved up for nearly three years to buy a new one, and it's amazing! Hope you get there in the end
  19. Thats Coulrophobia Nixy, happy to help.
  20. Caught them at Leeds Fest - Mosh-tastic!
  21. Cheers ladies and gentlemen! I'm feeling a bit better today, although it looks like the upcoming weather will be "encouraging" me to have a few more days rest! At least when i was on the course I didn't notice if it was raining or not Found a possible incentive for next year too: http://www.ukmtbtri.co.uk Will have to do something about that front crawl though!
  22. Well folks, it's all over now. I came a respectable 86th out of 145, with a time of 2h28m. The winner, who was obviously awesome, completed the course in a barely beliveable 1h43m! The whole Event was very well run, and despite the showery weather, the whole thing was very enjoyable. Felt ok when i finished, although the legs are hurting a bit today! Some Pics, I'm the one in the grey and yellow top where appropriate The Start: During the race: Next up, the professional pics by the event photographers! Feel the Burn! Flattering pic of me on the bike! I might even be tempted to do another one some time! Got the bug now....
