I don't tend to flog mine even if I'm driving for pleasure, maybe change up at 6k tops and use the torque. On the ebb and flow of the twisty roads round here, or even, on the similar roads of scotland or wales, I just like leaving it in 4th or 5th and just concentrate on making progress and taking a smooth line round the curves.

The US Zed Bose system has an auxillary port in the back for connection of mp3/sat radio etc. I don't think UK models have it mate, thats why it's such a hassle getting an ipod connection! If the uk bose system plays mp3 cd's, It'll be the first i've heard.

Marko! I wouldn't bother with an RX8 myself, although they are cheap to buy thanks to the depreciation, it's simply not fast enough for it's high liquid consumption.
