  1. It's just you. I'm not trying to be rude, mate...Have you driven one? No, I haven't even seen one in the metal yet, let alone driven one. The main point, primarily regarding the aesthetics of the car, was that I don't think it's such a timeless shape as the 350, and given that, what would sweeten the deal enough for me, or anyone else with similar thoughts to change their mind about buying one. Would like to see a Nismo version in front of me for a start. We no doubt shall see if opinions change at Wales in May (or earlier Colin? )
  2. Black Car + Spain = Easy cleaning! Welcome!
  3. Rich - Yeah, i have the 309bhp version too, part of the reason I mentioned DI was that the power step-up isn't big enough at the moment. Martin - did you think about selling it before you cleaned it or after? And for the purposes of this argument, we'll assume you can afford the upgrade if you wanted to.
  4. Yes, its very nice and all, but there would have to be a couple of changes before it would get me reaching for the cheque book. Principly, changes that would make me overlook a couple of the (to me) more dubious styling details - the decrease in storage, the new headlights, and the fangs. Number 1 - A direct injection engine. Surely this must be on the cards at some point in the future, we had engine revisions in the 350Z, so maybe in 4-5 years time perhaps? Number 2 - A much lighter "Cup" version. The lard-ass GT-R costs twice as much for the version with a weeks shopping worth of weight cut from the chassis. Lets have something a bit more focused for the 370Z huh? Cos if you made a proper job of it, you wouldn't need those daft £25,000 stoppers would you? Anyone else, or is it just me?
  5. A 9GB hard drive? Is it the millennium again already? Didn't know they were still making them that small!
  6. If you squint, you can just see a certain yellow Zed with loads of Buyer Beware! text round it.
  7. Happy Birthday Dave. HuhHuh Huh HuhHuhHuh HuhHuh HuhHuhHuh Huh. (as Beavis would say)
  8. Nice colour combo there, especially the interior. I expect it'll be like the GT4 edition on the 350Z, the same, but different!
  9. Lol, but shame about the sizeable flaw in the thread title
  10. Yeah man, because guns are soooo 2009!
  11. Don't worry Colin, I've got you covered: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/2118092/Worlds-most-expensive-handbag-unveiled.html
  12. I shall happily post up a review once I get it - try stopping me Running costs with the exception of insurance are likely to be less than the Zed tbo. The service intervals are 2 years/20.000 miles at an average cost of around £500 and that's main dealer prices so a good indy would obviously be less. It weighs nearly 200 kilos less than the Zed so is therefore better on fuel, brakes, etc. Geniune parts are obviously more costly than Nissan but hopefully it will live up to Porsche's reputation for reliability. Wouldn't imagine that you would leave it 20,000 between oil changes would you Trev?
  13. Don't worry mate, they aren't going to stop making GTRs in the next 12 months, and you certainly don't want the bills that come with them!
  14. Yeah, we like to keep things simple, and cheap! Fran was christening her new frame that she got for Christmas.
  15. Slight drama on our day mountain biking today. One of our party, Simon, broke his fibular. Bizzarely, he wasn't even on a bike at the time, he was on foot checking out a steep drop to see if it was rideable! I think he slipped a bit and landed with his foot under him. Anyway, I got on with finding a signal to call 999 and get the mountain rescue out, while everybody else helped him limp to a marker post so we could get some grid references. Mountain Rescue came, err, to the rescue. Only took a couple of pics before hand, but here they are anyway; lovely day for it. Action Fran: Simon, closest to camera, pre accident: Woody: No pics of this, but you'll just have to take my word for it that we did it. Fran was far more sensible, and walked down. Dalbeatties infamous Slab:
  16. Looks just like you Stan, Congrats again!
  17. Very nice Trev, black wheels not my thing, but i'm sure it'll feel like a scalpel compared to the Zed.
  18. What are you thinking Paul? Come back after you've had a nice drive and we'll talk again.
  19. +1 Still waiting to see my first one in the metal!
  20. Ah well, would have liked to, but already booked in for Wales and we are going to Berlin on the 14th, so need cash for that.
