  1. I've got a similar pick in the album mate, it's inevitable!
  2. If a jobs worth doing Colin....
  3. Haha, was just about to say it would end up in someones AE86!
  4. That is, quite literally, bloomin' brilliant. Congrats!
  5. That's the most bizzare thing I've ever seen! Well done.
  6. My work offers this scheme but I was under the impression it was a 12 month hire agreement and at the end of the 12 month period you could buy the bike from your company at market value. At least thats what it says on the government website. Sounded like a duff deal to me so i didn't bother. R Thats basically correct but the "market Value" is a mere 5% of the purchase price, so it's basically the same as your monthly payment. If you are in the sub< £38k tax bracket like most of us, you save about 30-40% on the RRP.
  7. Cycle to work scheme is tops, but I won't qualifiy till next year in my current job. boo! Mind you, the £1000 won't even buy the frame of the bike i want! Don't know why they bother with suspension forks at that price, you might as well have a fully rigid bike and save yourself a few kilos As this is a bike thread, heres a pic:
  8. This supreme daftness was announced last year at the same time as the Rapide i think. Heres Chris Harris reviewing it at Geneva: http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evonews/249196/geneva_videos_aston_martin_cygnet.html
  9. Certainly the Jokes on you if you buy one
  10. The usual Good, Bad, and Oh-My-God Ugly at Geneva, anyone have some faves or shocks? Try here: http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evonews/248380/2010_geneva_motor_show.html Personally, i'm not buying into a supercar that has batteries just yet. They're usually heavier, lose capacity over time, and are expensive to make in terms of resources. Porsche have a flywheel unit in one of their development racers, but what you save in weight, you lose having to convert the energy twice, from mechanical to electical, and back to mechanical again. Much prefer the lotus solution of a reletively small engine purely driving a generator to turn the wheel motors, near constant rpm and low fuel consumption, but with fancy torque vectoring and that max torque from standstill capability of straight electrical drive. Otherwise, the good: New clio growing on me: Still like the current alfa designs: The Bad: Impending footballers wife's "runabout" And the ugly. Really ugly... And C'mon! I mean WTF is this supposed to look like???
  11. And we are on the lookout for anyone who meets the criteria. We have considered female members as mods but havent found one to meet all the criteria and spend enough time on the forum. When one does though, rest assured they will be offered the post Oh, bad luck Nixy!

  16. They always look too stuck on for me, spoils the original lines.
  17. A sports car is a car designed to be pleasurable to drive, all other considerations like practicality and running costs are secondary! Preferably more cylinders than wheels. (although there are a few exceptions - elises, caterhams etc..) I know you get FWD sports cars, but i'd rather mine weren't!
  18. Welcome to he forum and 370 ownership - hope you can join us in Wales on the 22/23 May weekend - I don't want to be the only 370 owner there amongst all the 350's Yeah, your seat bolster will be taking a right hammering if no other 370's turn up!
