Well then! I could have saved myself a few quid and a lot of messing about had I checked a few things and the 350z-tech website!
I bought a set of Iridium sparkies of Nurrish a few weeks ago, thinking to swap mine for them. But after a lot of messing about wondering why the new plugs were a different size to ones that were in, I finally got to the bottom of the whole thing.
1) Nurrish has the VQ35DE (I think.) I have the VQ35HR.
2) A couple of changes were made between the two engines, not least of which were:
So not only did they apparently fit Iridiums as standard; (code FYE22HR11 on mine) but they made them smaller too! So really I needn't have bothered in the first place!
Lesson learned, check the specs next time!
Anyone need 6 Iridium plugs? Only been turned over a couple of times in a supercharged Zed...
