  1. yank yank, 3 models 276 bhp pre 06 296 bhp 06-07 309 bhp 07+ (313PS) Fixed that for ya RT
  2. Hehe, that video would come to a premature end as I went straight into a wall at 7000rpm after hitting a yump!
  3. Ooh, everyones a critic! I'm certainly not claiming it was a top run, I was trying to ensure the exhaust was at least audible while keeping within the speed limits of course. Fran wasn't with me, I taped the camera to the top of the aux guages! The road was indeed rather rough, you can see the camera go perfectly smooth on the resurfaced bits. And Stew, I was thinking of orginising a "Lap of Cumbria" sometime, but didn't know if there would be much interest as the club meet calender seems quite full. Maybe in the autumn? And it's so bloody wet that most of it wouldn't be much fun on a bad day.
  4. Thank AK350Z for the piccie and the geniuses who make Photoshop CS3. Like I said, there are some really good photos above that just need a little tweaking. Cheers mate Nice work on that pic! If I had a few hundred quid burning a hole in my pocket (which I sadly don't) I might consider a better camera, but I'd have to learn how to use it and all the post production stuff too Feel free to tweak any others you fancy! You mean the big drops Martin? I find it's best seen from the via ferrata walk.
  5. Although the power is higher, the torque is actually a touch lower. The rev up engine revs a bit easier too.
  6. I suppose this might be nice for anyone away from their Zed this weekend or stuck at work! At least there's a touch of Nismo in the background.
  7. No, sorry! All done on my Cannon A570 in auto mode. If i let it do it's auto metering thing pointing at a darker part of the scene first, I get pics like this though: Didn't put it in with the first lot, as I thought it was a bit dark. Also, as Colin has filled in for me, a lowered Zed is impossible round here, so standard it stays.
  8. You may not! Wee video to follow tomorrow
  9. Went for a little drive this evening (2 hours!) inland through Buttermere to Honister Pass and then to Keswick and home. Quite a few tourists still about, but managed a good blast on a few sections . Naturally, I took a couple of pics of the Zed too, hope you likey: There's a couple of videos to follow too, but that takes ages so it'll be tomorrow probably!
  10. Probably looking at some new rears very soon, but i've noticed on other cars there is usually a hard residue left behind when they move the balance weights, how do you get that off? It looks like tough stuff!
  11. Stay safe folks! Keep checking in here to get your Zed fix
  12. Yep, It's rock hard! Does last for ages though, so well worth the effort. Careful not to go too stong on the paint though, and constant turning of the cloth works well too.
  13. Because it's the best naturally! Actually, I really like the 370 roadster, I'd probably have it over the coupe.
  14. Squarespace.com? Supposed to be quite good.
  15. Same colour of the Roaster featured in this months EVO mag. Wondered where it came from!
  16. Not quite mate. You can just get to the tyre fitters quicker!
  17. I had thought about putting my Ipod nano in there when I get round to the tape deck mod.
  18. Think you just lever the panel out from the top mate. Use a rag and a screwdriver or something thats not going to mark.
  19. It's on Sky Movies SD as well. I won't be reading this thread until wednesdays or thursdays as I'm already recording 2 programmes at 10pm on a Monday and have to wait until Tuesday to record "The Pacific" - I know you lot will just ruin every episode if I read in here before i watch it. Just wondering if those who watched on Torrent sites also drive off without paying at the petrol station? I watched BOB online when it came out, and then bought the boxset when It came out because it was that good. I'm evens. Anyway, Sky is too expensive for me.
  20. Think you might be limited to 80% throttle in 1st and 2nd. The earlier ones are.
  21. Beautifully understated cars, want one!
  22. Happy Birthday Colin from me and Fran A Gentleman Racer indeed! You have my invititation to detour via Cumbria for tea and cakes if you wish
  23. Interesting, veery interesting! Is the HR really good for 500bhp? Thats a fair step up from the DE isn't it?
  24. love that case ! got a lian li clone with dual loops at th emo but the stuff needs a major upgrade really but as i dont hammer it like i used to ive been spending the cas on the Z . (never thought id be posting case and OC related stuff on a car forum !) My Lian Li I built about a year and a half ago: Dual loop, one for the GFX (two cards in SLi) and the other for the CPU, Northbridge and Southbridge. Hehe, Another old OCUK reject here! Have drifted away from it all now, but still like to keep up with the tech news. Incidentally, I still have a dual celeron 300@450MHz with Thermaltake Golden Orb coolers in the garage, Is it like an appreciating classic car of computing yet?
