  1. + a millionty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah it is crap when you have to miss meets because of finance - that's why I originally pulled out of Wales - but for those of us up here already Andy its our highlight of the 'meet year' - just as Wales is to those of you down South Hehe, I'd miss the wales run for the hoon anytime, good job they don't clash then! So are we looking at late sept/october then? or the more usual dates? As for support vehicles, don't forget Rickys Civic!
  2. I think Wales was busy enough without doing it on a bank holiday weekend, think of the caravans man!
  3. Hard to see how Moreton could be bettered for facilities really. Really good being able to get everyone in the same place with plenty of room for parking/washing etc, also the detailing firm was a nice addition. Also liked the fact the Sunday run was a bit slimmed down after last years post 8pm finish at the Chester motorway services, after which we still had to drive home! Of course the weather helped, but definatlely the best Wales I've been to!
  4. If you can make it to the next north east meet, I'm there!
  5. It's might be a touch steep mate, but to get a basic car and add the official Nismo kit plus the wheels you are talking serious money, so if it's A1 condition (and the cheaper tax to boot) get it if its right for you You'd basically be paying a bit extra to have the perfect facelift car!
  6. Good choice mate, just like the next level up from the Zed. Please keep us posted on running costs/experiences, looks like it'll be brilliant
  7. Should the Panda ever die (don't let Fran read that ), the Yeti is top of the replacement list, well, it is unless Fiat put a bigger engine in the Panda!
  8. Sorry about that moment of heresy there! I was mostly thinking about my financial position, and I hate missing meets because I can't afford to go!
  9. So good you said it twice? or are you speaking for Lexx to now? I love the design of the Rex too, but big cube grunt is much more attractive to me, hence the Zed.
  10. Can't save that much if you want a warrantied 400bhp though! I like the current shape more than the old one i think, prefer it to the Evo X anyway.
  11. Still VAG's poor cousin then? The current seat design direction is, err, interesting, to say the least. I'd say Skoda trump them for individuality.
  12. Happy birthday you old seadog! Hope your boss hasn't sent you somewhere horrible.
  13. Bit of a rare one tonight after biking. Parked just down the street from a mk1 Focus RS and an RS4 too so maybe on a trip together? The village is where the school bus crash occured yesterday. Plate was AF57 ***
  14. +1 To the above points, I nearly had an incident and went into the back of Mike, merely because I had let my guard drop for a minute and went round a sharp, blind corner at about 30mph only to find him stopped dead in the road at the back of the queue for a junction! Even worse was the fact that behind me was Chris I in his brand new 370 and Dave in the Garage Queen Suffice to say that although my first reaction was to turn into the other lane (thankfully nothing was coming), I think i managed to come to a stop mere centimetres from where Mikes bumper would have been. I normally try to hold to the rule of "Be able to stop in the road you can see", but no one is perfect and I consider this a lesson learned!
  15. Could just give it a rest for this year if its going to be logistically difficult?
  16. I don't know Mart, that pint glass looked pretty heavy!
  17. Top weekend again, thanks to everyone who attended And finally, some greedy parking
  18. Well done Neil, those vegetables are going to be suffering from a lack of attention soon though...
  19. Top job by all the mod team, and Chris' local support!
  20. ... and some new alloys! (spacers/lowering etc... )
  21. Done Glentress a few times, one of my fave trail centers
  22. Really Dave? You know you have to be there by this weekend don't you? Wont take me long though. You should know the garage queen is already pristine Think you might need some of these just to make sure though:
  23. Really Dave? You know you have to be there by this weekend don't you?
  24. It wasn't so much the adrenaline, but the massive arm pump! We had to stop a few times just to give our arms and braking fingers a rest. Wish I had a full sus, but I'm saving up for one; £20 a week in a pot! Should be good to go by next spring edit: Forgot to say, if you hadn't already guessed, I used one of those ubiquitous £10 keyfob style cameras to film it with. Pleased with the results, and no great loss if i crash
  25. Good job there Heath, looking top class
