  1. Haha, the most expensive decision you'll ever make! I bought my 350Z brand new, and it bleeds me dry. Yet every time i open the garage door, i forgive it every last penny!
  2. You can hire rowing boats and little low power engined fibreglass jobs from Bowness on Windermere. Speed wise, I think Coniston is the main lake for fast stuff, although Mr. Mac may be able to confirm that. Are you calling round for tea and biccies?
  3. 33Boxer? Are you a recovering Alfa Romeo addict?

It's amazing, best done flat out I find.
  5. +1 Number one priority with the Zed is to shed weight! Get that BHP/ton up.
  6. Some of the berms were truly spectacular, you could nearly lean over horizontally on them like a wall of death!
  7. And how do you fit a bike in that? I spotted a guy today take 2 bikes out of the back of a Porsche 928, classy and practical!
  8. Had a wee trip down into darkest Lancashire today to visit the trails at the famous Lee Quarry. Well worth the trip, the quarry packs a huge amount into a small space, including XC loop, pump track, black runs, and skills areas. Took a couple of pics, but put them in the video with everything else, Woo!
  9. I think the huge spread of ages on here helps too, especially all those old fogeys to keep all us spotty youths in check!

I hope the customer was satisfied! Tea and biccies as a minimum I would say
  11. Just take the Fezza man, stuff the depriciation!
  12. Next year maybe, need a bit of saving up first! I've got plenty of routes round about, no need to pay for an event really, but we'll sort something out!
  13. Well, I might be in Wales, but with a Panda and two bikes doing some birthday riding! Might have to do a Stan and drop by for dinner
  14. Cool, been walking round there before i think! Here's the pics from the Borrowdale Bash me and the boys did on Sunday. Weather held up quite well, and we had a good session. Only down side is that I'm now the only person I regularly ride with who still has a hardtail! How times change... Ready to go: Chocolate box Lakeland up Watendlath valley: Yes, he does have a helmet with him, naughty boy! Ford! Approaching Castle Crag
  15. At least you don't live in Singapore! I got mine new, so it's not hard to figure out the price.
  16. You obviously weren't paying attention at Wales Stan. (Neither was I, it was Fran that mentioned it to me! )
  17. Cotswolds perchance? I've got back from a right shocker tonight, peeing it down! It's that bloody hosepipe ban they announced, absolute kiss of death after nearly 5 dry months! Anyway, will be a pleasure to have you, are the bikes going to be coming? Can always hire something though i suppose...
  18. About 640m I think, best bit is the decent after that top is about 500 steepish technical meters down to the lake.
  19. It'll never make those figures and actually still be driveable in standard tune.
  20. Yes, I hear it's popular with MTBers and, err, other folk!
  21. Clio not as fast as you might think, but well on its way to modern classic status. Buy it for the bonkers looks, not for the handling. Clio trophy probably faster on the twisties. 350Z much more torquey, also possibly a classic in the making. Better dynamics, and probably more practical as these things go!
  22. Couple of pics i took on my phone from the much nicer weather we we having last week. These are from the top of Crag Fell in Ennerdale. Feel free to add any MTB pics to the thread if you want. I know there's a couple of you out there!
  23. used to drive a few Mazda6 ts's when i worked for National car hire. Pretty decent cars I thought, engine seemed quite revvy and overall I quite liked them.
