  1. Stans the man with the classy bangers. Just like our own Arthur Daley! Some of the 205gti prices on pistonheads are mental, aren't they a bit fragile?
  2. Clio had crossed my mind Stu. I think the rules will be; £2-3K, pref. small, cos of the narrow roads, although i was thinking about how an auto might not be too bad either, as it'll take an hour each way easily. Off the top of my head: MX5 Clio 172 Various Alfas! 147+156 autos are cheap! plus i found this: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2062686.htm Ford Puma (suprisingly cheap and plentyful actually) Smart roadster (too expensive, but inexplicably appealing!) Maybe giving way in the future to S1 Elise / MR2 a la Stan? or something cheap and thrashable like a Fiat 500/better Clio Of course, I havent even got the job yet!
  3. It's a bit rolly-poly for the road south, need some better seats in it or something. But yes, it is unstoppable! Especially in last winters alpine conditions: (Road Closed my arse!) It's a shame Fiat 500s haven't got cheap enough yet.
  4. Hehe, catch up mate: It's my GFs car though. We had it at moreton park on the October run on the Friday/saturday morning, but I think you didn't go to that one did you? Maybe the 100hp version, might still be too pricey though.
  5. I had an interview this morning down at Barrow in Furness. It went quite well. Those that know me might be able to guess what sort of job it was for... For eveyone else though: Take me home baby! Hopefully won't take too long to find out the answer, but the job market has been that rubbish, its taken nearly 2 years to even get an interview anywhere! It would mean commuting the 40-odd twisty miles down to Barrow a lot though, so will probably be looking at getting another (additional-don't worry!) car. Something small and nippy perhaps? any (cheap) suggestions?
  6. Is ATC still split shifts these days? You had better start on the vallium now! I heard your social life is so messed up, you can only marry other ATCs! I know the moneys good after you are trained up though, but don't forget that stress and nightshifts actually shortens your life....
  7. It's nice mate, worth having for the rarity alone IMO. The V3 rear isn't quite as hot though.
  8. Happy birthday all! Get any nice shiney bike bling for your birthday Chris?
  9. Door looks fine to me mate, just went out and looked at mine and it's the same. Can't really help with the rubber triangle though, remove both so they match?
  10. Didn't notice anything unusal in Wales, but i suppose it was warm then.
  11. I'm with you mate, I know you shouldn't laugh, but this is the weirdest one since Rod Hull fell off his roof
  12. Very nice james, should be good blown up A1 size and hung on the bedroom wall!
  13. I like the fact you had to part with silly amounts of cash to get a better car, that confims what we all know here, there's nothing better for the money than a 350Z!

*dribble* Easily the top of my lottery win list.
  15. I belive the 350 manual says to use a sponge!
  16. RIP Ian, Can't summon up any more words than that.
  17. Oops Afraid not chris, too busy riding! Plus saturdays and sundays rides were rather wet, so that never makes you feel like getting the camera out. Best ride of the weekend was Penmachno though, simply singletrack heaven!
  18. Ha, not quite! The Zed doesn't photograph well from normal height when close up - you can't see the lines! Especially not with a wide angle lense on.
  19. Stay amber, but different design/part number
  20. It's a real nice car once the niggles are sorted out mate. I'll take it for another spin round the block anytime you like! Can anyone give this guy a new gear knob? The current one has seen some, err....., action.
