  1. As long as you are ok with using computers, yes! All forms of physical media are on their way out. Thats why i'm not buying any blu-rays etc, its a waste of money.
  2. Driving on the wrong side is tricky until it "clicks". I've found by far the biggest mistakes made by people is not looking left at junctions (for the oncoming traffic), and road/lane positioning i.e. driving to far to the right as thats where you are used to sitting in the lane in the uk - also a major risk of kerbed alloys!
  3. Don't think there are many gains to be made, but they can remove the throttle limits of 50% in first and 80% in second, so it will feel a lot sharper off the mark.
  4. This. Get in its natural habitat with some dry roads and you'll be laughing.
  5. Love mine to bits, i see the prices are still similar to what I paid too
  6. Looks really nice, shame i'm not on it again!
  7. Well done Jayne! Frans just started her second masters last year, in a worrying effort to confirm me as the thick one!
  8. Don't know what my sifts will be yet, hopefully find out sooner rather than later!
  9. Much prefer the current styling myself, fail.
  10. Certainly seems to be plenty of kids around paying over £1500 insurance even for 1.2l snot boxes.
  11. Well it obviously couldn't run on forever, as even we had noticed, corners were being severely cut for competitions (see Amy's Zed etc) and you are obviously going to be going nowhere quick if you can only muster a couple of hundred subscribers out of a population of 60+ million! It's had its time, and the combination of the cost of motoring and the continuing fall of print media have done it in. RIP Max. Like that chavvy relative you never really liked, you'll still miss them a bit!
  12. +1 I do like a Temper, almost as good as the red eh mate?
  13. I've had two 33's which were in the great Alpha tradition great to drive, but total sheds. Then a 147 which never let me down in 3 years. Haven't had anything much more modern though, I like the current design direction though, and a 159 estate would be yum! Spider also looks tasty: http://cdn.images.pistonheads.com/aimg/1730/1730857-6.jpg
  14. Yeah, if the 4wd security of the TT appeals, then of course there's plenty of Carrera 4s about in that price range.
  15. i use bilt hamber clay, and although you apparently can just use water, i would put a spot of quality car wash in to break the surface tension and help the clay glide, especially on the soft Zed paint. Even the soft clay can be a bit stiff in really low temperatures. use two bits and rotate them keeping the spare in some warm water.
  16. Fly to Germany on Sunday, passport runs out on Monday! So here I am in Durham, waiting on the 4 hour Same day service at the passport office. Time for a big breakfast I think, then maybe a look around the cathedral. Anything else to see?
  17. Me too Neil, luckily we filled up in October when it was 40p, so should be ok for a few more months yet. Hopefully it'll come back down again!
  18. They are very good on my mountain bike, Maxxis Minion 2.35 Super Tacky 42a compound. ... Of course that might not be much use to you
  19. Yeah I noticed that, very Christmasy!
  20. A couple of pics from our running clubs annual post-Christmas excess jog up Burnmore tarn in Eskdale. The rain managed to stop before we started, but thankfully the thaw hadn't taken hold too much, otherwise we would have been up to our knees in bog! Still lots of thick ice about though, and I ended up on my arse a couple of times The Tarn itself was still frozen solid Stream crossing; steady! Bit icy still then...
