  1. Ask and ye shall recieve! 17" Hardtail, you need to remove both wheels, pedals, the stem and then drop the forks out. Remember plenty of towels to stop things getting scratched! Don't know if a roady would fit, the top tube on my bike is quite low which helps. Rear view: Plenty of space left for toolbox, track pump and gear!
  2. Theres a couple of us in Cumbria, where abouts are you at? I'm over by Beckermet near Sellafield.
  3. You Sir, are in luck then! http://www.classicandperformancecar.com ... n_db5.html
  4. OK, I have booked myself into a Club MSV novice day at Oulton Park in March! My friend Phil is hopefully also going in his recently landed V6 Clio, so it better not rain or he'll be getting intimate with his miserly lock stops £110 full day with helmet hire, and I might think about some in-car tuition too as it's only another 25 sheets. Come on March!
  5. Well done mate, a couple more trips and the old arse gets hardened to it! The right size bike can make a big difference though. If you fancy a bike, get a good second hand one, lots of cash to be saved and some can be near new anyway! I like: http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/forum/classifieds
  6. Want! Thats more like it might even be worth putting on the shopping list, would hope for a mild weight loss program though!
  7. Not driven by the Nixy look-a-like i spotted there last year then?
  8. Alfa SZ 240Z? I suppose thats already happened!
  9. Brainiac fails to cook an egg with 100 cells:
  10. Fake as you like. Modern cell phones generate less than 1 watt, usually milliwatts if the cell is within a few Kms. A microwave oven generates what, 600-900W?
  11. Can't do Barrow at the minute mate, I'm in germany for a week or so. Isn't Martin due home in a couple of days?
  12. Hope you and yours are ok down there Immy, looks pretty rubbish on the breakfast TV this morning.
  13. High speed handling work certainly was a success!
  14. Nice job there. Certainly wins the award for "Least miles travelled on a Zed meet".
  15. More pics on PH: http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=23216 I could get behind that! The interior especially I think is great, wouldn't mind that trickling down to the Zed, even in yellow!
  16. You will need a remap of some kind to get any gains from your kit. There is not too much to gain unless you start spending mega bucks on going FI.
  17. No noise clips yet i'm afraid, did have a quick pax lap it it and it pulls very well! Feels a bit more peaky than the Zed, but the stock noise is excellent with the engine being in the cab with you. I'm off to Germany again on tuesday, so won't be seeing Phil again for a week or so. But we are planning a repeat trip to Hartside when I get back if the weather is nice.
  18. Clio has landed! Went to take a look today and a few pictures. They certainly look a lot more purposeful in the metal than in pics. The lack of lugage space is laughable though It certainly ain't no GT. The front boot isn't even watertight! Bath time: Boot space? we've heard of it!
  19. I'll probably get the kit soon, then do the front and see if its lost any power. Certainly still feels good anyway. Dont know if i've posted this before, but it's one of the best MTB videos ever. Short, sweet, and definitely makes you want to ride.
  20. The new models will have to be top drawer for the projected prices! Weight wise it might be the final end of the Chapman philosophy though.
  21. Top stuff as always Matt, still loving the ones you did for me on the Black Bull meet. Hope the business picks up again for you, ressesion can't last for ever! (Hopefully)
  22. Good write up mate. Isn't the Evora getting the heave-ho when the new Lotus line up/buisness model comes online?
