  1. 200 bhp in the Standard Nismo, Nismo RS when it's released will leave the factory with 215bhp.
  2. Nismo Juke, I hated the Juke at first and don't think I'd ever buy a standard one based on its looks but after looking for sonething abit different within budget we pulled the trigger on one. It doesn't handle like a hot hatch but it does go like one and surprised me just how quick it is. It's very well put together and the interior is a nice place to be, everyone that's been in it has complimented it and changed their opinion of the Juke.
  3. Gen7 Celica or if it's dry and I can be bothered I get the garage queen(Elise) out.
  4. I'd save some money and buy a £30k M135i.
  5. We have a Nismo on the driveway. Great car for cruising around town and doesn't half shift so I can imagine with 250bhp yours is very quick. The Nismo could be with better suspension and desperately needs bigger brakes as it struggles with the power and doesn't like corners to much.
  6. Qashqai should be the next car Nissan give the Nismo treatment after they've sorted the Juke Nismo RS. It will either have around 210bhp from the 1.6 dig-t or maybe 300bhp as some are suggesting.
  7. If you go for a 1.9 diesel check when the cambelt and water pump was last changed. They should be changed every 4 years or 48k as the pumps fail taking the belt with it. We owned a GT Jtdm Lusso like sarnies and it was a very nice car but had its negatives and only returned 32mpg around town.
  8. Steering wheel controls is just 3 wires and it doesnt even matter if you get 2 of them the wrong way round.
  9. You can wire the oem satnav sound into an aux input on the aftermarket headunit, only problem then is you either have music of sat nav source. I never got around to experimenting with using the tel mute to cut music for sat nav or wiring in a separate speaker for the sat nav.
  10. I've never been a fan of the oem position, loads better in the boot under the strut.
  11. Think about buying used also. I paid £300 for my two JL amps, they were only a year old and would of cost £800-900 new. Got them from a guy who worked for car electronics Leicester who had them fitted in a 206 before buying a boxster.
  12. Personally I really wouldn't spend that much on the rears and put the money towards a better amp. I ran 2 amps fine in the 350Z, my celica is struggling with the same setup though, either the battery or alternator is struggling. How about sticking with Hertz and something like this... http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/amplifiers/multi-channel-amps/hertz-hcp-4
  13. As I'm a believer of not upgrading the rears if I were to do them I'd run them of the headunit then you could use 2 channels bridged for the sub. You could go with 2 amps but depends on budget.
  14. Yes you can run components of 2 channels. Are you going for a sub also? I would definitely go for components up front. The oem speaker grill covers about a third of the speaker in the door so a separate tweeter will work better.
  15. If you really want to do the rears then stick with coxials, not worth going down the component route. Personally i wouldn't even bother with rears.
  16. Rowan Atkinson has crashed his F1 twice now. The first time he took out a Rover Metro in 99.
  17. How was the head unit fitted? Are you using the buster mod and taking the feed from the high level speaker outputs or are you using pre outs? Something isn't earthed right and there will be a way to fix it.
  18. Up the A pillar and clip onto roof liner.
  19. 11mpg, 12mph average around town. They really don't like short trips.
  20. GT is just heated leather seats, Bose and cruise. All UK cars have brembos. Ps. Later cars rays were standard in GT spec.
  21. Rainsport 3's, awesome tyre in the wet. I'll be putting them on the Celica next as there great in the dry but the main thing is there wet performance.
  22. I've had a Z4 and 350Z both great cars but the Z4 lacked that wow factor and was to refined. If I were to have another it would be a 370Z as the new Z4 sDrives just don't do it for me.
  23. Fuse box behind the battery?
  24. Speakers are fine, it's what powers them that lets them down. Upgrading the head unit makes a massive difference. Mine sounded very good with the imprint processor also but I wanted even better so replaced everything.
