  4. You need 100 posts before you can sell a car on here mate
  5. Lol yeh and I will prob be about 2k lighter aswell
  6. Cheers for that Rich... really appreciate it mate, will have a wee browse after I have dinner. Well I just handed the car back... I am really unsure... it looks great... but is basic compared to the 370z inside ( I forgot to take pics sorry) but the main thing that bothered me was the lack of noise when I put the foot down....I am a very confused scot at the momemt
  7. Is that not a debadged R? Can't see the inside to tell for sure, but it's got the Spyder wheels and the spoiler, and the black wing mirrors... Nope it's a cayman s with some kind of body kit the salesman said as I asked the same thing
  8. LOL, I am glad you noticed this aswell mate. I am not keen on the ISF and feel the xfr is a little old for me I really like the c63 but doesnt fit in my budget .
  9. Morning update. Picked up the cayman this morning and I fell in love with its looks, however I must remember this is not the car I would be gettin as this one is newer and has some nice toys One thing I noticed straight away is how refined the cayman is through the gears.. it does it with so much ease whether the 370z is just a big brut. Was hoping to take it out for a proper drive but it is seriously bucketing down... so wont have as much fun as I had hoped Anyway here is some pics
  10. I wouldnt say I am worrying Dave.. but I am going to pay alot more for a 911 and then have the usual outlays. So I am trying to be sensible and add things up before I just jump in and buy something Maybe worrying was the wrong word, how about concerned? What I meant was think about why you are buying what you are looking at. Are you thinking residual value, running costs etc then possibly not the right move Are you thinking once in a lifetime opportunity to own a special car before you are too old and crusty to properly enoy it.... then stuff the expense and go for it, you can't take it with you! Yeh mate, I am not worried too much about residual value, as I will only have the car for about 2 years... running costs in caymans wont be that diffo compared to the 370z. So yeh.. thinking to myself.. why not get myself a bloody nice car before I am married and have kids.... as realistically I wont be able to do this again till I am a bit older
  11. But you need seriously deep pockets if you want to go exotic like tvr as we all know something is bound to happen. Thats why I thought the m3 / cayman are still great cars and fairly safe. Lol I know what you mean irfan.. seen a few white m3s kicking about. Was offered vinnies m3 off monster unit aswell but I would prefer to buy from a stealer so I get a warranty.
  12. Oh dear... no I am trying to be fairly sensible on this guys. I have always fancied a porsche and decided I will have one before am 30.. so at a ripe old age of 25... I think I need to scratch the itch of owning a porsche If your being sensible, then there's nothing sensible about having a weekend car. If you were being sensible you'd take the work car and put all your money into buying a house Sarnie... I am being manly sensible lol.... still need a nice car

  14. haaha I wish that I could afford a TVR mate, but I need to be fairly sensible about the next purchase. I dont think an m3 or and cayman s is a bad choice. Irfan... I dont really want a project car mate... I did toy with the idea.. but I like the luxury side of sports cars now... cant be doing with the 10 year car and then spending a fortune on it etc etc. Tough choice.. I have been offered a cayman s for a decent price and I am tempted. Going to go see the m3 today I think aswell. Here is the cayman s: http://ucl.porsche.de/ucl/plsql/uk/clie ... 1&caller_= Jay, I nearly fell asleep when I opened that link to the Cayman In my opinion, NEITHER are going to turn any heads. LOTS of people will think your a jumped up **** in EITHER car. NO-ONE will let you out at junctions in EITHER car. In the M3 people will think your the local gangster wannabe. In the Cayman, people will think you couldn't afford a 911. Thats said, I do actually like both cars, but the above is a lot of peole pre-conceptions about the cars and their owners. None of the above would stop me buying either of the cars but it what people will think. For though, it would be the M3 all day long. It gives you so many more options than problems it gives you. In the cayman your only ever going to be able to take you and your Mrs anywhere and boot space is restricted. If and when you and the Mrs have kids (they aren't always planned you know ) if your in the Cayman your gonna have to sell up........you could buy the M3 and not need to change cars for years LOL trust you Liam. Remember this will be my weekend toy as will have the Navara soon enough Well someone on here has made me a good offer on my 370z sooo it got me thinking and these are the only two cars that I like within my budget. But what people think of me because of what I drive doesnt really bother me if am honest. Come on we drive nissan's lol people see that as a poor mans tt I will let you guys know how I get on with the cayman s tomoz.
  15. Couldnt get a c63 for my budget.. unless it has some serious mileage
  16. There seems to be a massive shortage in second hand m3's is scotland lol. bloody typical. Taking out the cayman s tomoz and if by magic its gonna be p!shing down all day, great
  17. Thats cause you live in fife I have to say .... i see loads of m3's and porsches around glasgow area.. just cant decide on which one to go for
  18. I wouldnt say I am worrying Dave.. but I am going to pay alot more for a 911 and then have the usual outlays. So I am trying to be sensible and add things up before I just jump in and buy something
  19. Yeh i did a rough check and the 911 will cost roughly an extra £400 odd. Plus if something was to go wrong with the 911 I would be in some serious trouble. The cayman or m3 will come with a warranty as it will be bought through a dealership
  20. Strange, I just clicked the link and it goes to the cayman s. I dont really want an older 911 guys plus insurance for me would be a fricking nightmare
