Guys, looking for some assistance. Finally got round to fitting the skirts I bought from newseller, Shine replica Nismo's, last night. The old skirts were off in about 5 minutes, couldn't have been easier. The Shine ones lined up perfect, end poppers went in no worries, as did the 10mm screws underneath, BUT I hit a major problem with the fitting inside the door to the body next to the kick panels. 6 holes with the white sockets leftover from the poppers on the OEM skirts. First i thought I could take the poppers off the OEM skirts and use them, I was wrong. Not even with the help of my Dad could we get the poppers to stay in, there's just not enough flex from the Shine skirt, it keeps pushing back out. The screws that came with the Shine's weren't up to much, there does appear to be a thread in these white adaptors on the car but the screws are too thin. Its kind of held together just now by the doors being closed, but was looking for some help. I'll try get some pics but its absolutely pouring rain here just now. My first thought is bigger screws and maybe some adhesive tape??

Manc, what was the Z3M like? I looked at them before the Z but was put off by talk of Vanos issues and the lack of TC in a 300+ bhp car. Still got a soft spot for them though and price seems to be creeping down a bit.

I spoke to the company mentioned in the post, and 2 local companies that powder coat wheels and all 3 said they wouldn't do a different coloured rim. For reference, BJV Engineering said £40 a wheel.

Have you tried the supermarkets? I've always found them competitive, and there are a few companies highly recommended on here. I've found if you call up they can get a cheaper quote than just going online and letting a computer decide for you based on criteria.

True, although i'm back to using normal unleaded after reading a pretty well backed report about so called Super fuels. And seeing a lambo driver at Sainsbury's in Aberdeen filling up with the weak stuff.

I reckon this year will be a stinker of a winter for us, its been a long time coming. Cant remember the last really bad one up here. I'm off to Dubai 20th December till 4th January so it can do whatever it wants during that time!!! Are you city centre Cara or out Westhill way where Stew is? Always worse out there than in town, my folks are out there.
