Has anyone driven both the Z4M and the 3.0 coupe? I read a review yesterday that said there's not a huge difference and that the 3.0 Sport was a more refined car as a daily driver over the M. Haven't driven either so only going on what I read. It was a Parkers review.

Folks, decided to sell a few things I've got for the Z. Bought them off here but haven't got round to fitting them and the more I think about it I just dont think I'll get round to fitting them. Tein Springs. Believe they lower the car approx 20mm all round. These are brand spanking new, comes with instructions and a couple stickers. Looking for £110. InvoAuto Cold Air Induction Kit. Bought as part of the ESR clearance. Polished intake pipe with filter that sits in the wheel arch, sucking in colder air as its outside the engine bay and doesnt suffer heat soak. Brand new, never been fitted, comes with all pipes, hoses, fastenings, and a filter! Looking for £140. Nismo Gear Knob. Polished black gear knob. NISMO lettering on the knob. Comes with a sticky on shift pattern and fitting instructions. Brand new, never fitted. Looking for £50. All prices are not including postage, although the only really heavy item are the springs, the rest should be under £5 to post. That TTS was rapid! Mugs game sitting under someones bumper at that speed on a dual carraigeway, I wasn't playing his game, specially not after seeing that smash earlier with the car on its roof, not good.

Are replacement springs something that could be fitted DIY or does it ideally require a garage? Presume an alignment should be on the list of to do's post install?

I went straight to the jet wash after the run to get the worst of it off. Vasser must still have half the Cairngorms in his rear right wheel arch!

Good run today, just the 4 of us made it out. Inverurie over to Westhill - Peterculter then B road madness courtesy of Vasser out to Braemar. Had a burger and chips at the Hungry Highlander then over the Glenshee Ski Resort, down the rollercoaster bumps to Blairgowrie then the dualer home. Very very nasty looking accident outside Blairgowrie, car on its roof, reigned the speed in a bit after that.

I used to burn comedy podcasts for my commute to my old work, was a 5mph crawl the whole way from one end of Aberdeen to the other, found laughing stopped me killing numerous bus drivers, cyclists and other motorists.

Any news on the biker Stew? Didnt look good when I drove by, no ambulance there at the time, just the fast response car.

I know the road safety lot are re-running the 'look, look and look again' ad for checking for bikers, but I've just witnessed the very harsh reality of not checking. A young lad in a silver Polo just took a biker out on Aberdeen's Market Street. Car was turning into the bikers lane of traffic into a side road and obviously hadn't seen the biker. Bike was in a very bad way and the rider wasn't moving. Just be careful folks!

Gents, just a weather update. Glenshee has had a fair dumping http://ski.visitscotland.com/conditions/glenshee/ see the pic. Its forecast to snow again tonight and rain most of tomorrow, snow on higher grounds. I know looking out the window just now its a gorgeous blue sky 9C day but maybe we should double check this in the morning. I'm just speaking from my experiences in the Z up that road a few weeks ago and it really wasn't pleasant at all. Would much rather be able to enjoy this on bone dry roads. Plus, the ESR exhaust might trigger an avalanche!

Aye i'm thinking the same, i've got a wedding kicking off at 6pm, might be an idea to skip the BLairgowrie leg and take the easy route back to Abz from Glenshee. Yeah thats no prob. you can still travel down to blairgowire and along the dualer back to Aberdeen., if in a real rush. Just flew by the gramps today in the chopper and they look ok weather wise. Cool, can play it by ear when we get to Glenshee then. Doesnt look like anymore snow is forecast but you never know.

Got the route through Vasser, cheers. My only concern is that we keep an eye on the weather, its been snowing up there the last few days and although I have done the Glenshee run in a white out, I wouldn't wish it on anyone!!

Are the DPmotorsport wheels the right offset to clear the Brembo's? The ones I saw on their eBay shop were +35?
