Doesnt supprise me in the slightest Nissan like to add things to the task list, it keeps them in the job Dont have to be done at the same time, but for the labour costs, its usually best to get them both done. Saying that, its usually people who need the clutch doing that get the flywheel, not heard of anyone who has the flywheel and thinking of doing the clutch! How old is your clutch? Might be worth replacing it, or hold off on the flywheel until you need the clutch? Got a good deal on the flywheel on eBay so figured I'd snap it up. Dont actually know how old the clutch is, but I agree, I'd rather save on the labour and have them both done at once. Cheers

Sorry to jump on the bandwagon here, do both need done at the same time? i.e. clutch and flywheel or is it ok to do one with the other? Reason I ask is i've had an after market flywheel gathering dust for a while and wouldn't mind fitting or selling it on........

Has anyone used Motorwerks on Forest Avenue Lane for anything, past or present cars? Just dropped my bosses RR Sport off and realised it an old workmate that owns it. Didnt get a chance to chat to him but as its just round the corner (and hopefully get mates rates!!) be good to hear if anyone's used them before? I think they started off doing tints and wheel refurbs but my mate said they are a leading tuner for VAG engines now up here.

There are a couple of these in Aberdeen, one white and one PINK. Someone has even kitted out an old fire engine into a limo, slightly off topic though!

Walked away from one at the local Aberdeen stealers. Felt the treatment they gave me was shocking, almost as if "there's no way you can afford this car", asking me ridiculous questions about my job etc. Had driven my 55 plate Type R up there for trade in, and he basically rubbished the car aswell. They had to send a car up, so I had a look on the web and picked a black one, but after the treatment I got I decided I didnt want to buy from them. Was then badgered for weeks by Nissan Sales saying they had sent the car up for me to buy etc etc Came on here, flew down to London and loved the car and every minute of the drive home from Northampton to Aberdeen, despite it pouring rain!!

Yup! Had been trying to get me all week aswell, did have a few missed calls from withheld number. Kept going on about 'of other people are driving the car, its them that get the fine'. Not sure what he was trying to get at, but only one person has ever and will ever drive my car since I own it and thats me! Said it might not just stop at a fine, depending on the officer, they might want to refer it to the procurator fiscal and i could get points. Blah blah blah, young man with a flash car, blah blah blah, i dont have anything better to do police talk, blah blah blah, letters spacing and sizes. All in all a pretty wasted phone call! Just creates an even dimmer view than i already have of our boys in blue.

I'm really surprised they havent pulled me for another £60 towards the Christmas party fund. Sorted now, so i'm all legal.

It was for number plates. The officer had seen the car and noticed the plates were 'illegal'. Previous owner had cleverly placed the screw caps. Guess it saved me a £60 fine at least.

Trying to think back if I've done anything report worthy but I'd say I was quite considerate on the roads, despite some of the idiots round here with licenses. Never on my mobile, it gets stuck in the cubby hole. Still no callback so cant be urgent.

Looking for a bit of advice on here. Had a voicemail this morning from the local Roads Policing department, basically said he'd been trying to get hold of me for a few days (despite this being the 1st voicemail received), nothing urgent so dont worry but he does need to speak to me. Have tried calling back but no joy, no idea what this could be about. Any ideas welcome.

Why when you have that much money? If i won it i would still keep the zed if only to do the drive outs. And stuff the penthouse apartment, i would have a huge house in the country with a huge garage with my zed still in it with a collection of other great cars. I would also have a go-kart track in the grounds with about 30 karts for forum meet special events. Penthouse and a 430 ? sorry Ian you have no imagination Not an F430 an F40! And I'm not a fan of the countryside to be honest so a big house that would only have 3 rooms used doesn't do it for me! My girlfreind went to the hair dresser's the other day in a 355, she came back and said she much preferred the zed. Does she say your the 'biggest' she's ever had too? She's a liar, keeping you sweet HAHA! Harsh but I did laugh. House in the country absolutely. Wouldn't spend a penny till that giant cheque was all mine, imagine losing the ticket!
