...Well not all bad but ended not so well As some of you may be aware I was out looking at Zed's yesterday & drove 2... A JDM Tiptronic one & a UK GT Spec Both were amazing with the manual obviously being better & lots more fun. By god are they quick...that extra 100bhp over my Cupra is SO noticable & the drive...absoulutley amazing...I MUST have one That was the good bit the bad bit was getting home to try to sort the finance...cant get anything from anyone The reason being that as I'm in a new job they wont entertain me for at least another 3 months (my probabtion period) which means it will be some time before I can move upto a zed which sucks big time & was a serious kick in the pants yesterday Anyway doesnt mean I wont get one...just have to wait a tad longer...which might not be so bad because I could at least save some more towards it in the first place Sorry just thought I'd share Neil

Well without starting a seperate thread this here would be my collection...currently on display (LOTS LOTS more in my parents loft) Well thats all for the toys on display but I do hve some other cool memorabilia in the form of signed comics Lee Sullivan, Simon Furman & Andy Wildman And one off sketches from the comic artists Lee Sullivan & Mike Collins Well think thats about enough from me...at least until I get piccies of the stuff in the parents loft Neil

Totally agree, Sarnie. The rear diffuser and spoiler are a complete joke. It may appeal more if it was painted a decent colour. I know it's not particularly pretty but it is one of the race cars rebuilt so expected to look a tad OTT Neil

Well I'm off to look at 2 Zed's tomorrow so I may have a proper poke around & see whats what space wise & hopefully get a feel for the whole possible ICE install while I'm trying not to spin it into the nearest bush on our crappy roads

Looking at just that pic I think you may be right in just dropping the rear. Although could do a big ICE install with a 15" in the boot then you wouldnt need to worry about new springs/coilovers at all

Ah so a Tonneau it is then Nah Vibe's are ok if they arent in a Nova/Corsa/Saxo type install Well I've never scrimped on the stereo before so dont intend to now...I'll make sure I pick up some Extreme for it. Oh is the Bose amp a big size?? The footprint for both the Genny Pro's is Pro 4 - (H/W/D) 38 x 217 x 300mm Pro 1 - (H/W/D) 38 x 217 x 300mm So unless I do a full stealth install with a false floor not sure they'll hide under the carpets anyway...not to mention the fact that I'd have to add some extra cooling anyway I guess

Quality. Should get that gear fitted...although maybe lose the Vibe lol (J/K my mate has a vibe & it does just fine) Reckon lots of Dynamat maybe needed...only real problem I can see is that anybody & their nan will see whats in the boot because of the design...unless I can get one of the Rear Deck Tonneau covers I guess??

Howdo peeps, Well after a quick search on here it appears that the Zed takes 6.5" components up front can anyone just confirm that for me??? I'm massivly into my music so the first upgrade when (& if) I get my Zed will be to replace the standard system & seeing as my Leon takes 6.5's up front as well would be nice if I could just swap over the ID Chameleons I currently have in there...because they are great Thanky in advance Neil

Howdy peeps, Just thought I'd stop by & introduce myself as a potential new Zed owner Currently have an '03 plate Leon Cupra which I've owned now for about 5 months & I'm already starting to get bored of it so I'm looking now for it's replacement & being as the Zed is now coming down within my meagre budget means I may just have to take the plunge I had planned to tune the Cupra but I just cant see the point in wasting all that money & not making it back, where as the Zed just seems perfect as standard (Although I lay money I'll still want to fettle with it at some point ) Anyway expect to see me lurking a fair bit while I try to get as much info together before I do jump on the bandwagon Neil
