  1. Would tyre scrubbing, or lack of it, really affect the traction control??? I would guess that its probably something to do with the difference in rolling circumference of the wheels differing from standard. The TC system possibly thinks the wheels are moving at too different a rate, hence cutting in. Or I could be talking BOL10X :S
  2. I haven't got one but I'm sure I read a post on herea while back saying that the standard zorst is something like 82db and the Nismo is 87db. Someone with more knowledge can probably tell you for certain.
  3. I'd go Nismo if I were you. Its the only brand of exhaust that is widely appealing to almost all prospective 350Z buyers (I say all because some people don't want any extra noise). Before I bought my Zed, I would probably have been sceptical about a DC exhaust but if it had a genuine Nismo on it I would have found it more appealing. Lots of Zed buyers make their purchase before they find sites such as this one and learn about whats good and whats not. Just my two pence worth...
  4. Thanks Mike but its the sound I'm trying to identify, not deal with the problem. I do think its just gravel hitting the inside of my wheel arches but its been niggling me so I thought I'd ask.
  5. Can anyone explain what the clicking rear driveshaft fault sounds like in more detail please? When I pull off my driveway (forward or reverse), I get noises from the back of my car but it sounds very much like small stones that have been stuck in my tyre tread working their way loose and rattling round in the wheel arches. Is this the sound the fault creates or am I worrying about nothing?
  6. And no one has even said to you... shame.

  9. Congrats Stew. Won't be long before you were wishing you could work away more!
  10. Too difficult for you Louis?
  11. Hey Stuey, why didn't you clean the underneath of the side skirts (lookm at the first pic)?
  12. I've done Prince2 in a week. It's tough and hard work... What type of PM work do you two do?
  13. OK, not seen any for a while but saw two today. First was on the M62 (Eastbound) this morning in rush hour heavy traffic. I was in an Azure in the slow lane, an R8 was in the middle lane and you went past in a 57-plate pearl white in the fast lane (then I went way past you because the slow lane is much quicker when the M62 goes down to 2 lanes over the M6) Second spot today was a Kuro heading north on Trafford Park road in Manchester/Salford at lunchtime. I was walking so you wouldn't have spotted my car.
  14. I like it... gets tough after a few levels...
  15. Or is the bottom falling out of them? Seen quite a few very cheap ones on eBay since I bought mine in October

    Lotus Eagle

Yellow one looks good but nowhere near as good as the 9 year old M250. Why wasn't that produced
  17. Excellent post, thanks for taking the time to do it.
  18. I wouldn't say that Nissan dealers have the monopoly on p1ss poor dealer service.. I have had some atrocious behaviour from Vauxhall dealers , Jaguar dealers and BMW dealers. (the Jaguar dealer standing head and shoulders above the rest for p1ss poor service and downright deception ). Best I have experienced by far is from a Mercedes dealer.. so I wouldn't let one bad experience sour your relationship with your Zed... Sh1t happens as they say +1 I've had very poor customer service from BMW aswell as Nissan in the past. BMW were just shocking and I hated even thinking about having to get in touch with them. I spent over £5000 with Drive Direct Nissan in Warrington in 1996 fixing a 200sx that my boss at the time had crashed (when I say I'd spent, he did really). When I got the car back it was pulling to the left slightly so I got back in touch. After beeing fobbed off by them several times because they knew they'd not replaced something that they should have done and it was a bitch of a job to fix they started getting frustrated by my persistent phone calls (I was 19 at the time and I was VERY persistent). It worked though because in the end the lady on Customer Services told me to "F%@K OFF!" on the phone Just what I needed to get the problem sorted out very quickly and get her sacked. A few weeks later I went in to my local Jaguar dealership and she was working there on customer services! (Go figure...). Drive Direct Nissan no longer exist in Warrington, they did have a Rover Sealership in Widens for a while but I assume thats no longer there either now. My best dealer experience by far has been with Subaru and I've also had excellent customer service from Land Rover (don't ask!)
  19. Have you said who the dealership is anywhere? I have read through but can't find the dealers name. You're not too far from me Jacko, which one have you found to be the best in the North West? I've only tried Chorley Nissan in Wigan up to now. I went to them on 15th December to diagnose an exhaust problem, turns out I needed a new back box but they couldn't get one in until 16th January! Maybe its Nissan GB who need to start stocking more parts? The other local dealer to me is Middlehursts in St Helens. I'm thinking of going there for my next service in a couple more thousand miles???
  20. The Koenigsegg is a nice car but I think if I had €500,000 to spend on a motor I'd get a Zonda. Its the epitomy of cool in the supercar world (IMO)
  21. They both had rubbish handling IMO. Nice to cruise on the motorway but not a hard driving car.
