Not to shatter anyones hopes but it should be pointed out that Ladies Day is Thursday 8th May, Friday 9th is the Blue Square City Day but its as good if not better IMO. Especially if you want to party in Chester that night too (most of the girls go home on Thursday because they're in work on the Friday... on Friday night its like shooting fish in a barrel! )

I'd be happy with £16K if I were you. You might get slightly more in a private sale but I think thats a fair price. 6months ago I paid considerably less than £18K for one with only 30,000 miles on it. I'd expect about £16K for mine.

Definitely appeal it. You've paid for the second ticket and I would think that you can use that as evidence that you got a ticket and paid it. Incidentally, if you ever go back to your car and see a warden writing you a ticket, don;t speak to them, just get in and drive off as quickly as possible. The ticket is not issued until they place it in the waterproof see-through wallet and stick it to your window. If they haven't done this, you haven't been given a ticket yet. (I learned this one the hard way but I'm dying to do it next time)

I think if you get a good brief on your case you can plead your livelihood depends on your licence.. Track down Nick Freeman in Manchester, he is expensive but he gets a lot of people off. He is a "Loop Hole" master!

In my last job, I covered "The North" and that included Birmingham. On that basis, Oxford is very much the midlands! I wouldn;t ordinarily class it as the midlands but its about as close as I could get when I was looking how they had spread them out.

North South East - Cambridge - Marshall Nissan London - London - WLN Mill Hill South South East - Tunbridge Wells - Motorline Tunbridge Wells South Coast - Bournemouth - Westover Bournemouth Midlands - Oxford - Sims of Oxford South West - Exeter - JFE Exeter Northern Ireland - Belfast - Hursts of Belfast North West - St. Helens - Middlehurst North East - Newcastle - Benfield Newcastle Scotland - Edinburgh - Noble Edinburgh OK, there seems to be a bit of a bias in the south east but I guess there are likely to be more buyers there than accross the rest of the country since its more densely populated. Anyways, Middlehurst's is only 8 miles from my house
