  1. Fantastic Mate! I felt dizzy just looking at your video
  2. WOW!!! Thats what you call a job! Oh I do feel sea sick just looking at those pictures.. excellent photography mate - never mind doing electrical stuff get taking more pics and send them into the Digital phot mags - they pay you £130 if its published - that will buy you one clear reflector for your Zed for a start! Good luck with the job and don't forget to pick up your cream bun from Stan's Cake shop emporium when I start it!
  3. I cant remember without looking but is'nt the grille a clip in affair anyway? So if you just get your bumper done then you can fit all the other bits - go racing come back and take an executive decision later ? There's no rush is there??
  4. Funny though! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHkoZ7ngAM0&NR=1
  5. Whoosh!! Coo they are fancy pants are'nt they - no wonder you dont keep them on all year round! Those bolts must be a swine to clean - toothbrush job is it?
  6. Hi - with the wonders of photoshop - cant you superimpose the stuff onto your car maybe to get a better feel for how it will look?
  7. Which fancy wheels do you have then? Any pics?
  8. Sounds like a plan - I will of course offer a discount to the Zed forum, but only if you turn up in your Zed!! Hmmm Zed shaped cream buns?? Interesting?
  9. Agree 900% with you there mate Thats why I want to open a cake shop - its my plan to take over the world with cream buns
  10. Ok where do I start? I used to be on call 24x7 for years at previous jobs- makes you a nervous wreck - cant do or plan for anything as sods law states you will get called! I would love to work from home more often (only happens when you need to sort something at home)- for me its absolute heaven. I have the longest journey in to work in our team - 1 hours drive in, average 2 hours home or 3,4,5 if a bad night. Blackberries are the devils work your constantly checking your email etc etc never get to switch off. There is no physical reason why I can't managed umpteen factories from a beach on the Carribean but they wont let me do that either!! For your job in sales - its your lifeline, I understand that and it was mine when I was contracting for a while, but in my job we need a definite line - i.e work and home time - mobile devices blur that line. So thats why I like to switch off and enjoy my personal time. On the works front I am a practical person and signed up to solve problems, help users, fix things, makes things better, etc irrespective of company targets. That used to be the IT job - now its all down to money saving , outsourcing, politics and admin overheads - its not IT anymore I'm afraid? Think thats the way a lot of jobs are going Are you still awake.........
  11. Lip reading eh? Did ya used ta work in't mill? Had a proper run out around Cheshire countryside yesterday - great fun and bonus roof was down - really enjoyed it - only had the car a week so still learning and understanding it. Boy does it stick to the ground! Looking forward to seeing you lot at Bala run - hope to see what wonderous mods you have on your cars and pick up some Zed tips
  12. Martin I guess in your job you need to - quite a few things at stake? In my line of work no one will die, worse case a box of washing powder wont get made on time or a pallet of icecream will melt so the end consumer wont be able to cool off on a warm day and have nothing to wash his sweaty shirt with afterwards ... Diving or shifting a massive load from one place to another is another game though - proper work with tangible rewards that you can see - thats my problem I dont see the end result of my work most of the time
  13. I even sent off for a brocure - they replaced the engine with a bigger one last year Wow MAX POWER!!! No seriously it was a cheapo fun option I was considering , every time I see one on a motorway (not often) just makes me smile and they are always zipping along at high speed - however a bloke driving one of those is just going to look so gay - shame really So hear I am in my hairdressers Convertible Zed instead
  14. Coo do you remember the days before mobiles when people only got in touch with you - when you turned up in the office!! Mobile devices - modern evil, just ditch them, never a moments rest!
  15. You see listen to your wife!! Low temperature wash only - otherwise they shrink like this!!
  16. Aha!!! I know who you are.......... Speak next week matey! good choice! Not that I am biased?
  17. I'm sure your right Sarnie - an engine like that is crying out for extras shall we say but I like the fact that it does'nt have a turbo and its not supercharged etc etc etc ... I love it as is. Sorry to be boring.... boggo is fine by me.
  18. Where do I sign up - I want THAT job !!
  19. Come on Trev we are curious - you cant leave us hanging like that?? Teacher at Girls boarding school? PE ?? Fitness instructor? Gigalo?
  20. I dont do adult dress up mate! Ha ha ha Comando is best
  21. I have seen 2 Azure in a row most mornings until I got the Zed this week - you Vill Haft to seek unt Destroy Zis imposter!
  22. Thats very sneaky indeed - but for the Bala run will we not get Police attention anyway due to a large number of cars in convoy? Is there some rule that prevents that kind of activity???
  23. We exchanged a wave and flash of lights ! How do you keep that car clean!!
  24. Got a Star Trek tractor beam fitted in the dash - its a GT roadster optional extra -just aim it at a wagon and then switch the engine off! Naaa I am just keeping it steady at the mo - save all the fun for the weekend - plus I am still in paranoid new car mode just had it a week!
  25. Thanks everyone - its nice to find out what other people do? I've been in I.T. 19 years now various companies - worked just about every shift pattern known to man-kind and been made redundant once - best thing that happened to me actually! Current employer is actually the best so far - this job has its moments like every job but on the whole its a good un. They actually want you to get trained up and pay fairly well - first job I have had that does! Downside is the 700 miles a week travelling to work and back - this of course eventually effects your home life - draw your own conclusions. Like some of your comments the admin and politics gets in the way of the job - this is like a cancer eating away inside then one day its time to leave would'nt you agree? This country unfortunately still has small minded bosses who will not spend any money at all - Its the lets buy a Ferrari but service it with Asda's own brand £3 a gallon engine oil scenario- just false economy! I see that the self employed seem to be the happiest so far??? I've wanted my own business for years but its deciding what to do thats the problem - Nothing to do with computers though I hate them!
