  1. Cake Department: This is how I imagine the conversation must have gone, it is the only explanation. Well known supermarket chain employee: 'Hello 'dis XXXXX [name deleted to avoid retribution], how can I be helping you?' Known customer: ' I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week.' Well known supermarket chain employee: 'What you be wanting on the cake?' Known customer: 'Best Wishes Suzanne', underneath that, 'We will miss you'.
  2. For you Chemistry Buffs... as if there are any on here A new addition to Chemistry's Periodic Table Research has led to the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every action with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second to take from four days to four years to complete. Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2-6 years; it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass. When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.
  3. You've got me thinking now, doing it myself might mean I could do this quicker than I'd thought. Got the tools mentioned, agree with the wd40 the night before suggestion always a good one that. If you can take a few pics and post a guide that would be great, might mean I could do this in a month or so when I get that garage done (everything in a complete mess and impossible to find at the moment). Any chance you could record the sound difference and insert those clips into a guide if you do one ?
  4. Raining down here and Glastonbury is getting wet !
  5. I'm OK, but only my opinion. Sorry didn't report in from the various European ports of call this week.
  6. Looks IMO, I liked them when they were suggested and I think they look great. I suspect when rolling slowly along they'd look impressive, not surprised you're getting 2nd looks Good to see something different that works so well.
  7. Welcome, welcome ! I'm still grinning as well.
  8. Pink Elephant parking at Heathrow Temper Orange Reg ending in a creditable "ZZZ" - pic was complete rubbish and friends sleeping nearby and
  9. Where've you been ?
  10. ETC - Electronic Toll Collection, maybe a good shout
  11. Welcome, welcome ! Guess you are going to fit right in.
  12. Scoll slowly ! What Nationality ? Do you give up ? Have you made your mind up ? Polish ! Scroll down
  13. If not a bike how about a moped / scooter ? then rainproofs, just go into a small bag, you don't get hot and sweaty (if short bike ride then just take it easy and rural like, no sweat then either). Doesn't sound a worthwhile reason to change a car to me, but then if you've got half a mind to change anyway it still isn't the reason to change.
  14. Superb job Bet that took some time.
  15. Agree that is, but we don't know if that is what Relentless is talking about. I'm pretty sure mine doesn't have letters on it as he described.
  16. One hit wonder, overall a "Sluggish Snail" rating
  17. Looks like this at the bottom of the pic?
  18. Firstly, Many congratulations Then shame about the Zed, but then when you come back round to 2 seaters in the future who knows what will be available. I've had a lot of trouble with electrics on the powerful Audi's so I'm put off them. Old school M5 or even slightly newer top spec but not M5 might get you an interesting vehicle. RX-8, definately has more space than a Zed, I guess it comes down to how long you plan to keep the car. If a few years you may even have more than 1 child so the practicalities of getting them in and out will become more important.
  19. Well done in getting a rescue dog. One thing I've noticed with names is that sometimes Rescue places change names of animals so they aren't used to their own name, worth just checking in your paper work or asking the centre concerned. Have fun together !
  20. For that quiet time in your day. OK, it follows on the sheep theme from the Aussi visiting NZ. http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/sleep/sheep/reaction_version5.swf Be honest with your first rating I got a penalty first time and that's not good for the rating, but it got better.
