  1. Japspeed are poor quality and within a year or so you will be out shopping again. Try a cobra one which I think is the next cheapest and last much longer.
  2. Off a 2004 DE. Mileage I'm not sure, from memory 60/70k. I'm not sure how much mileage matters tbh so long as they are in good condition, and these are very good
  3. That's an interesting situation. Quoting an excessive amount of time make the customer happier about accepting a higher price. If your guys had said it will take 3 hours and will cost £200 you may not have been biting off their hand to give them the work. In general, when the discrepancy is excessive you might feel ripped off, but for Jetpilot we are talking about a few hours and that's still penny-pinching.
  4. That's terrible. You are completely right. Even though it's not the point, who says a day is 9-5? A day is whatever YOU say it is to get the job done. In retrospect I'd recommend that you don't say x per day you say it will take about x days to finish the job start to finish as a duration of the job, not how much work is involved. He has basically ripped you off and you should tell your friend that guy is a royal ****.
  5. The sale of my Z means the clearance sale continues and I no longer need the BRAND NEW banana arm I was going to fit. This was for my 04 plate, drivers side. I *think they are the same for all models but best check before you buy if you have a more recent model. Fancy paying £240 for a new one? I don't think so. Its taking up space so it's yours for £160, never taken out of the wrapper. Collect/delivery in the Newcastle area. Also collect in Leeds on some weekdays, Carlisle and northern lakes some weekends. Alternatively delivery £15 or £25 insured (which I recommend when its this amount of money)
  6. Replied (and now i know which ones you wanted, so ignore that in the pm )
  7. Are you sure? That works out at £8.50 postage to CZE tracked and insured or £3.50 at your risk.
  8. Two used Cats for sale, bought from a low miler as a replacement for mine but never used. Great condition, all heat shields in place. Come with gearbox mount and gaskets/bolts etc. Good if you are setting your car back to standard before selling or if yours are dodgy/rotting. Edited to say £80 including next day delivery!
  9. 2x1lt of genuine Nissan differential oil. Enough to replace all of your old mucky diff oil £22 delivered. Includes a free can of engine flush (no good reason- just because it does)
  10. 2x Brand New Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 225/45/18, cracking tyres and one of the best you can fit for the Z As you can see from the pictures, never fitted and ready to go. Retail at £120-£130 each, a little cheaper on Camskill but they are out of stock Yours for £180. Collect/delivery in the Newcastle area. Also collect in Leeds on some weekdays, Carlisle and northern lakes some weekends. Alternatively delivery £20 or £30 insured (which I recommend when its this amount of money)
  11. Vredstein Wintrack Extreme winter tyres are high quality tyres and just what you need with the bitter winter to come. Part worn but still with a healthy 6mm. It looks less in the pictures, possibly because they are dusty. 2x Fronts only - 225/45/18 Retail at £120-£130 each. Will take £120 for the pair. Collection/delivery in the Newcastle area. Can also be collected in Leeds on some weekdays, Carlisle / northern lakes (Keswick) area some weekends and even in Eastbourne early next month as I'm off there on business. Postage will be £20 or £30 with insurance.
  12. 'de rigueur' for the 350Z (that means you have to have it, but in French ) £7.50 including postage.
  13. Hmm. I'm paranoid though Still, I'll give it a miss and see if i can sleep at night.
  14. I'm interested to know if anyone has taken up dent insurance? Its about £150 for a year and is supposed to cover smart repairs up to 6cm. It sounds like good peace of mind when parking in a supermarket or similar. As always it depends on how paranoid you are (I'm very paranoid) but I'd like to know if anyone else has bought it? http://www.moneysupermarket.com/car-insurance/cosmetic/
  15. I don't have anywhere to do this so it means paying for someone else to do it for me, and it means getting all the bits to swap. Too much hassle.
  16. Yes, it was only a little less that I would have got privately and no tyre kickers or hassle. So sad, but I'm glad it was quick, like ripping off a plaster. <sigh> I wish I hadn't just serviced it though
  17. ...aaaaaand "SOLD" Its going to be sad to see her go. What a wonderful car. I'll post up the mystery replacement as soon as I can, and I'll also post up all the bits I have in the cupboards over the next few weeks so the vultures can descend
  18. I have to keep editing the description as I keep remembering things Such a fab car, someone is going to be very happy.
  19. Just so it's very clear, ONLY use genuine Nissan fluids in the gearbox and diff or you will make it worse rather than better. Moly is a nice touch.
  20. Someone will have to be quick as I'm in negotiations with a garage and the px value is getting higher and higher
