The shocks arrived back from mojo's the good news is they found a problem and have fixed it, a faulty adjuster within the shock which allows pro pedal to engage. Bit rubbish really to say it's brand new but least it's now fixed will be out over the weekend to give it a good work out

Well did a five hour epic on the five today!!the weather was fantastic (to good really burnt my back )The good news is it was a great ride and really enjoyed the five and it performed well! The bad news is the rear shock doesn't feel right so is of to mojo Monday morning

Taken as the sun was setting and I was trying to get all my heli tape applied (reason why there's a hairsryer in one of the pictures )
Prity much how I want it now, just got to get the hope grip doctors fitted and shorten the front brake cable and I'm there really chuffed with it, came out better than I was expecting

I think the reverb will be the best dropper post for a while to come yet!!
Even the new fox DOSS IMO isn't going to be a patch on the reverb don't see how it an be when running a cable instead of oil actuated as it restricts it's height adjustment and the cable's bound to need more maintenance than Reverb
Another massive stumbling block is the price so iv seen around £350

Must admit for the amount of riding we do and hard riding I seem to get away lightly with punctures, worst thing will be getting the Tyres off without scratching my new rims mind the bloody rocks will do a good job off that I'm sure

Either of you two run tubeless? Wondered if it was worth the £120 upgrade to the mavic 819's and rubber queen continental's

Would have gone for a 18inch frame but won't work with the reverb, one of the main reasons orange introduced the 17" was for this reason as the 17 and 18 share the exact same geometry apart from the seat tube which is 20mm lower to accomadate the awkward sized rider like me
Chav it'l be similar to this one

That's the problem with having too many hobbies especially expensive ones (which most are if your 'really' into them)

As you say the main thing is the people, we all get on that well its as if were good friends (well we are) but then we don't see each other for another year.
