  1. I'm slowly building a list of all the wire, connectors & relays I need. I'll be making a new loom from scratch
  2. Well that was possibly the most enjoyable 11miles I've driven this year. Who needs a 450 rwhp 370z when you have a 240z The car passed with no issues other than a slight leak on a shock which I already knew about
  3. Cheers Dave, I'm looking forward to driving it on the road, even though it will only be to the MOT station & back
  4. Other than wheels & a more modern/safe re-wire the car is staying original. The lights that I'm Waaaaaaiiiiiittttttiiiiinnnnggg for are EURO/JDM spec 240z reproductions so as per OEM
  5. Well it's been a tough week, had very little time to play cars, well actually next to none. My rear lights never turned up after paying for the express delivery (4 working days) now 10 working days & there still not here, so had to do a quick re-wire, lose the reverse lights & make them indicators for the MOT tomorrow
  6. Guess I was the only one ever to get lucky with GTM
  7. Will it be quicker than a GTR? In a straight line once rolling it should be My 370 was Should depend on the road conditions still and the state of tune of the GTR I would think. What happened to the GTR manifold. I think it would have been ideal for this build. I sure if you took it to a machinist he can knock out an adaptor plate to make it fit. Bennet !!!!! Where have you been hiding????? I was referring to a stock R35
  8. Will it be quicker than a GTR? In a straight line once rolling it should be My 370 was
  9. Every car is different so you can't put an exact figure on power output, plus you have so many other variants to consider, ambient temp, pressure, humidity, You may benefit a little more peak HP with a 3'12 as the intake temps will be a lot lower but lose out in torque mid range. I ran the 3'33 on my 350 & accompanied with the cosworth intake got 430rwhp but the mid range torque was a lot less than those running the smaller pulleys. Get some dyno printouts up so we can compare to others
  10. I think Jim needs to send you a new hat Will, it's looking a little faded
  11. I seem to remember you having a few Shandy's @ LakeZ
  12. Was it not then? what rate has been used to calculate the power then?
  13. I think we even squeezed a 6pk2000 belt on Adrians car running a 3'12 pulley
  14. I know I take the pee about you & your red hose but it looks a whole lot better with Red
  15. You need a 6pk2005 ish for a 3'12 or 2'87 pulley the 6pk2020 will be to long & likely to slip as there is limited adjustment on the tensioner
  16. So what happened next sir Octet of Bushey????
  17. Mike: "The instructions say bolt this to that & wrap with tape" Darren: "Hahahahahaahahaha WTF are you reading the instructions for"
  18. Ahh the fun we have @ RT Performance Just wait until the 240 gets there
  19. Hope all goes well @ Horsham today. #The pulley dilemma, as standard the kit comes factory fitted with a 3.33 pulley & I believe that a 3.12 pulley was ordered but was now where to be seen in the kit, so a quick trip down to the Zed Shed in Bournemouth was in need to collect Keysers spare 2.87 pulley. When we went to install the pulley on the shaft we then found out that it wasn't a genuine vortech pulley as the side profile was thicker than a vortech one This meant that there was some modifications required. I had to take off a couple of thou from the inside edge in order for it to clear the bearing housing.
  20. You don't need luck when the Zboosters are at hand
  21. Not sure what happened to my post earlier so I'll type it again What are people's thoughts on a staggered setup? 17 x 8.5" rear with a 235/40 tyre & 16 x7" front with 215/50 tyre With a 4mm negative offset & the extra width should fill the arches nicely
  22. So what do you guys think on wheel colour? Gold with polished lip, 15 x7" front & 15x8"rear Or gunmetal with polished lip?
