  1. I looked into this a little while ago, to get a vq in an mx5 you would need to make some extensive modifications to the height of the engine by either dry-sumping or re-designing the plenum.
  2. Just seen the video, I must say, it was a good save from the civic driver, he's got some skills (& luck) I wonder how many other drivers in the same situation could have saved that.
  3. 😴 I'll let Adrian post the pictures, but what an amazing place. Could have done with a few more days out there
  4. I must say I was so impressed with the quality of the items that they can produce here. So many un-imaginable things they can do, also such a kind & friendly bunch of people also. The hospitality was top notch. Can't wait to go forward & develop the future products with them.
  5. Nice to see your still pressing on with this, I'm watching the classifieds at the moment awaiting my next project to find its way to me, glad to see that your now playing with the high build primer. I don't envy you
  6. Pete Sorry to see your car in that way, I enjoyed helping you build part of it & I hope you enjoyed it whilst you could í ½í¸©
  7. Thanks for all the birthday wishes I had a good day thanks, a little to much to drink
  8. I knew your were an arogant know it all so & so Dan, but this thread????? Really???
  9. I doubt that you would see any real gains just by changing the throttle body, think of the restriction of air through the filter, the turbulance caused by the flexi part of the intake pipe, the coarse casting of the plenum & lower intake manifold, & then the size of the intake valves, their lift height & cam duration. Then there is the exhaust side. So are you really going to achieve anything by solely changing the throttle body. No, save your money for some more petrol & tyres
  10. I saw this accident yesterday, was glad to see that you were all out of the cars safely, it was quite a mess. Unfortunately I don't think they will repair your car tbh, such a shame as I see you on the A2 & Hoath way quite often
  11. I'm sure it will go to a good home, hopefully to someone on here. But in all honesty I can't justify another 350z over my Cayman Don't be sad mate, be excited!!! The GT4 will be awesome!!!!
  12. I'm so tempted, but two zeds & a porker
  13. Dude keep your zed, it's awesome & absolutely immaculate, then point me in the direction. Of the gt4
  14. I'd probably end up with a month ban if I even insinuated who was being advertised
  15. Well this morning I witnessed some fine driving from a 350z owner. 7:30am with the flow of traffic I was exiting the M25 @ Jct4 to join the A21 towards Bromley, when a red 350z from lane two squeezes in within all the other vehicles that had respectively filtered in & waited their turn, so up the slip road & onto the roundabout the Z goes up the inside of a truck & then cuts across the front of it just before the exit of the roundabout onto the dual carriageway, making the truck brake along with others behind it. 7:30am less than 5degrees outside & wet. Great driving bro & a fantastic advert for the company your advertising over the back of your car Hope you made it to where you were going safely
  16. I have a freshly rebuilt VQ35DE sitting in my garage, full engine & loom bar an alternator Not sure where you would stand with your insurance in the event of a theft having the NATs disabled?
  17. Same here. I don't use mac products - I know they suck, but I guess I just never imagined they could be so terrible that they have add-ons that are only available as malware on Windows I don't think it's the mac product that is giving the problem, its the non mac software being used 'FIREFOX' Personally I recommend using Safari, never had any issues
  18. I can't say anymore than what has been said in the last few posts. Today has been a very emotional one & I'm proud to have had Martin as a friend of mine, RIP Martin
  19. It looks better with out the engine cover True but he bought the NISMO one
  20. Modifying is such an overused lame word anyway
  21. Oh My, this is heartbreaking to read, I saw Chesterfields post on Facebook & it broke me. Martin was the first guy I met on this forum & urged me to come along to my first meet in 2007. I have no regrets in doing so, he welcomed me with a firm handshake & have had the pleasure in meeting so many others over the years within his invite. Truly a fantastic guy with such a kind heart & sole. Martin, friend of mine that has sadly gone, I really hope that we can have a LakeZ 2016 in his honour. RIP Martin you will be missed & remembered by many for the great guy you were
  22. I have just recommended one of these to a guy I know, great sounding exhaust & good fit
  23. Nice to see that the website is now up & running Very easy to use & so many products available
