a short run and some tunnels sounds like a good idea 2me, i dont really know essex well so cant recommend any apart from the obvious, at worst we could terrorise the car parks at bluwater. any other suggestions?

yes i had this problem also, found that i had set the glass to far towards the rear of the car, set it forwards and re-tightened the bolts and its fine now even past speeds of 150:teeth:

super shiny then, mine is 2now covered up in the garage, not sure how good it will look on sunday, got a 260mile run up 2chester on sat, so hopefully the weather will hold out and i can get away with a quick wipe over on sun am.

ive just fitted my spacer this evening, taken it for a quite blast, seems to provide a better power delivery in the mid-range. I think i will probably stop here with the performance side as it looks like it will get very expensive. the posts have been a great help, thanks guys

hi all, ive just ordered a motor dyne plenum spacer and thermal gasket, hope 2receive and fit it within the next 48hrs. Does anyone know if i would gain anymore from having a re-map as well. I also have high flow cats and k & n panel filter fitted. If so is there anywhere some1 knows of in the south east, (kent, essex, sussex, london region) that could do it?

Only a few days to go now, the numbers are looking good. I plan to spend every evening this week making sure my Z is imaculate for the trip and photo shoot. Anyone travelling up on sat from the south east, kent, london, sussex?

ouch!! The three bolts i was talking of before are the 3 which hold the glass in, if you release them the glass simply slides up and out the top. then you can remove the large panel and inspect the cause of your problem alot easier. I know this through dropping the end of a socket in there and having to strip it all to get it back Good luck buddy
