  1. No point Adrian, the OEM rails were not replaced so the fuel dampers are there otherwise there would be fuel everywhere. Seems to me that the investigation is just going round in circles running up a big bill.
  2. What are you talking about, I've spent 5days with you in the last 2weeks
  3. Thanks for all the birthday wishes, Pumpkin is being left alone today, I'm off to Aspers tonight with the lads, hopefully I won't blow all my money in the first hour
  4. I take it the wife is away if your going to watch the rugby ?
  5. For that cheeky remark I think you should come & show me how it's done
  6. I feel your pain. Try it on a car where every panel is made up of complex curves. Keep up the good work. Remember the hours spent now will show through at the end. I don't envy you at all, being a bit of a perfectionist myself when it comes to a finished job & can only imagine how many extra months it's going to take you I'm working on the rear end at the moment, just on the shape so that I can get it primed & back up on the spit. I think what is getting to me is working on the floor in the cold. I think I'm nearly there now, got a layer of stopper on it this evening so hoping to get it rubbed back again & primed by the end of the week.
  7. I completely forgot about this video, along with what the 240 looked like in one piece
  8. Now that is some serious girth. Can I ask why you didn't just cut & weld a small plate or angle in at the bottom?
  9. I would normally accommodate but all my garage space is taken up with my current project, I feel your pain as I spent all day saturday on the ground under cars in the rain & snow
  10. I wonder if they would fit in the 240? Do you have them out of the car? If so do you think you could get the rail dims & overall seat dims?
  11. It's in the manual, ask them about it???
  12. Unless there is something wrong with your coolant, the nissan Longlife coolant that is put in the car from the factory should be good for 7 years or 105k miles
  13. 1) AmyZed 2) Grundy 3) Dunks 4) DDay 5) Blaqkaudio 6) Pritchard 7) kite 350 8) Ogman 9) octet 10) Gumpy000 11) glrnet 12) MadMarky 13) Will370z 14) Buster + mrs Buster 15) willetts 118 16) Andy James + greedy girl 17) Paddy78 +1 19) Non stand attendees: 1) SMD (but I won't be taking a Zed place on the stand, just don't want to miss a close meet with lots of mates there!) 2) Darren-B Doubt the 240 will be finished by this time & don't want to hog some else's place if it's not.
  14. Yes mate, Hose 2 is only 6 inches long and is the bleed line hose one is long enough (just as it's from a LHD kit) to go to the new master cylinder and has a banjo connector fitted to connect to it. Also the new kit has a push and clip connector with rubber O ring both the ones on the box are threaded so it's just different fitments, hopefully I can get a couple of adapters to do the conversion. Ok cool, I wasn't doubting you, just wasn't clear in the pictures, sure you will get something fabricated
  15. Could almost be classed as shabby with the little work achieved. Ian were you paying them an hourly rate or something
  16. besides that was 5 years ago, I'm sure these lads have moved on to bigger & better thing now
  17. hahaha, have you tried driving a zed in the snow?
  18. Chris, are you sure the hose isn't the wrong way round? part 2 to connect to the slave instead of part 1? pictures are not that clear of the pipe setup
  19. Probably wont be there in the morning... :scare: Nah, can't you see he's got a security gate. Nobody could possibly get passed that. "past" ... even He's in Scotland, not North London Will. So the car should still be there in the morning
  20. If the brake fluid is low, this will be a good sign that the pads are worn, if you top it up you will then have to remove some fluid when it comes to a pad change otherwise it will overflow & eat away at any painted parts of the car it comes in contact with unless rinsed off immediately. Just to note brake pads will not be covered in your warranty
  21. See getting all the tough jobs out the way before you come over to help with the fun stuff
