This happening scares the sh!t out of me!!! I make it a habit now to check all around the car before I get in a drive away. The idea being that if i park in a space that's clear on either side, if a car has parked next to me when I return, and a dent appears I'll know who did it. I really want to have the balls to double park, but have always harboured deep resentment to those I've seen do it in the past, I just cant get out of that way of thinking! I only hope that if it ever happens to me, I'm there to catch the f**ker doing it, they would indeed incur my displeasure

Almost 3 months now since I traded my Audi A6 for a Zed, and while I know the build quality isn't quite up to German standards, I haven't regretted a single moment since making my decision! I get such a buzz out of driving the car, it'll be a long, long time before the novelty starts to fade, if ever!!! Congratulations. On the fuel side, I regularly get around 25 or so to the gallon, and that's just buzzing around the urban environment. But driving on a run, M5 or something, I can easily get up to 31mpg! and that's not even being particularly steady or slow! but if was about the fuel, I'd have gone for a Prius

This I find quite upsetting, I was always getting into scrapes when I was a youngster and it was always comforting to have a teacher around to say "there, there". It's a sad society that would automatically find something sinister in this. I haven't turned into a maladjusted individual as a result of my experiences, and I thank God for the sympathy of my school teachers. Except for the games teacher that touched my bum!

Yeah, channel 4, I remember watching this, they filmed at a farmhouse in a secret location in France for obvious legal reasons. It was just about the most tense telly I ever watched, I think. I'm sure that I read, or heard, that Derren Brown remained friends with the other guy from then on. I think he's very clever at what he does, no-one else even comes close.

Hey Alan. Welcome to the forum matey. I'm from South Devon, meself, And I'm pleased to say that there are very few zeds on the roads down here, which is nice for the head turning factor. I often get complimented on the car when I park (not on purpose, you understand ), in busy areas There's no question of charisma, it oozes the bloody stuf!!! I've had mine for just over 2 months now, and I love every second in it!

Hey guys. I've done a search for this issue, and couldn't find anything relevant, so..... I have a very basic Jap head unit, cd/tuner, that's about as much use as tits to a nun due to bandwith differences. So I want to change it out for something a little more UK friendly. I haven't bought a head unit since cassettes became the new, practical way of listening to music! I don't own an ipod, nor do I intend to get one, so having a connection for this would be a waste of time. What I do have though, is a portable USB hard drive. I know that some units have USB inputs to accommodate flash drives, but would it work with a hard drive? the USB cable is the power source for the drive, so that wouldn't be an issue, but would the music stored be accessable, and would it "shuffle" or be album-selectable through the head unit? If any of you have tried this method of sourcing your music, I'd really appreciate your feedback. Thanks, Carleton *update* I'm also assuming that as I only have the very basic factory fitted ICE, that I don't have any of the Bose components, and perhaps wouldn't have the wiring difficulties that are associated with the higher spec systems. Hey Dave. Did you ask the guys to do this for you, or did they just do it anyway? I hadn't even considered the question of underseal on the car, it's just something I always took for granted. I'm a bit concerned that because I never raised the subject with Tristan, they might not have bothered with doing it! what do I need to look for under the car? Carleton
