    Help Please

Ask whoever you are buying them from, that way if it you get wrong info it wont hurt you in the pocket
  3. I was there, fortunately we knew about it and managed to bail before it started getting heavy. Explaining why my hirecar had burned to the ground was not something I was looking forward to
  4. Ooh, and a decent race seat as well, makes a lot of difference
  5. A standard Z33 is a fairly good driftcar TBH, Id just say get out there and see how you get on. Youll be needing lock mods before too long but Im a believer that its better to improve the car as your skill gets better rather than throw a shitload at it from day one, you learn a lot more. Do not get swayed into thinking that you need a hydro handbrake yet either, its too easy to rely on it rather than weight and power, and anyone who tells you you need more power obviously hasnt drifted a Zed in 5th, its got enough power Most of all, go out and enjoy yourself, its a proper laugh
  6. 3 hours on pads seems a bit heavy too, did he fall asleep halfway through?
  7. I applied for £3500 worth .......... and got bugger all. I also applied for £6K of Olympic tickets and got bugger all, American Football twice and got bugger all, Im starting to think this bollocks is just rigged. If you are able to return any tickets you cant afford (as with the Olympics) then its bullshit, they might as well just do first come first served as obviously people are going to massively overextend themselves as they know theres no penalty.
  8. If that was in UK Id have had it already.
  9. Suzi Perry isnt getting better with age though. In fact quite the opposite
  10. Anyone else hoping Suzi was his new missus? A mate of mine got snapped the other day and the pic appeared on another mates FB feed, its a small world
  11. Id say they would clear, they arent that far off standard widths TBH. Its only when you start going full retard that you have to worry (and then get someone to build you 70mm arch extensions because youre a dick)
  12. I hope he chokes on his cake The info Will has given up there is useful, but actual profit figures are more useful ....... Red Bull Racing Budget: £235.5m (estimated from overall RBR/RBT budget) Income: £240m (of which £110m comes from Red Bull, £60m from other sponsors, and £70m from FOM earnings) Profit: £4.5m net Scuderia Ferrari Budget: £250m (including engines) Income: £260m (of which £160m comes from sponsors including FIAT, £20m from customers, and £80m from FOM earnings) Profit: £10m net (group) 2012 McLaren Racing Budget: £160m Income: £180m (of which £120m comes from sponsors, and £60m from FOM earnings) Profit: £20m 2011 Lotus Budget: £130m Income: £120m (of which £30m comes from Genii, £45m from other sponsors, and £45m from FOM earnings) Profit: £-10m Mercedes Grand Prix Budget: £160m (including engines) Income: £150m (of which £50m comes from Daimler, £60m from other sponsors, and £40m from FOM earnings) Profit: £-10m 2011 Sauber Budget: £90m Income: £75m (of which £40m comes from sponsors, and £35m from FOM earnings) Profit: £-15m Force India Budget: £100m Income: £75m (of which £30m comes from group companies {Mallya and Sahara}, £10m from other sponsors, and £35m from FOM earnings) Profit: £-25m Williams Budget: £90m (purified, excluding Hybrid Power) Income: £90m (of which £30m comes from PDVSA, £28m from other sponsors, and £32m from FOM earnings) Profit: Even Scuderia Toro Rosso Budget: £70m Income: £70m (of which £32m comes from Red Bull, £8m from other sources, and £30m from FOM earnings) Profit: Even Caterham Budget: £65m Income: £65m (of which £26m comes from group companies {Fernandes}, £9m from other sponsors, and £30m from FOM earnings) Profit: Even Marussia Budget: £51m Income: £51m (of which £30m comes from Marussia, £15m from other sponsors, and £6m from FOM earnings) Profit: Even Interesting to see the smaller teams broke even or made money and yet the two smallest are now in administration a year later.
  13. I saw the link about it, I just cant see TA being cheap even if its the Clubman class, it wont be long before youre throwing money at the car like every other TA competitor ever
  14. Listen to the man who actually has competition experience Local hillclimb/sprint events are going to be easier, cheaper, less competitive, etc., Id start there and consider TA once you have a bit of experience under your belt

    Recommendations

Normal NS2's are not good tyres in the wet, and even if you dont drive like a **** you still need to stop quickly sometimes. Sorry man, but you cant seriously recommend them when there are so many better options available for not a lot more money.
  16. If you can find a single non standard body part of my car thats the same as anything else in the world then Ill give my house to charity. Once again, yours is off the shelf, to trying to claim thats MODIFIED to someone who has a totally custom Z33 isnt going to get anywhere.
  17. If you are too young to remember the 900 and 9000 Ill let you off, they were absolutely superb cars - a 9000 Carlsson for a long time was the fastest car Id ever been in and if they were RWD Id probably still have about 5 of them. Seriously, probably the most underrated car ever - very fast, handled well, massive and well comfy inside and the boot was a good 6 bodys big, relatively economical, reliable ........... there was literally nothing to fault with them.
  18. Shambles. And the big players like Fernandes, Albers, Kolles will just move on without a care in the world while the guys regularly working 30-40 hours overtime a week unpaid get shafted.
  19. Rarerims have the best wheel site out there, the DW one is pretty good as well. I personally wouldnt go overboard with telling people what will and what wont fit their cars, its not that difficult to find out online before they come to you. The Rarerims virtual bay is a nice idea though, would mean people will visit the site more often than just when they are actually looking to buy something. I also dont think there are enough examples of wheels on cars on trade sites, for instance a pic of an Advan RG is nice: but a pic of a 350Z with nicely fitted RG's actually on it .............
  20. Probably a lot less than youd think, and who else would buy them?
  21. I doubt they made more than 10, so no, probably not
  22. Aston Martin Virage shooting brake. Cant go wrong. ETA: 500hp, 6.3 V8, 175mph, room for dog in back.
  23. There were some Q4 (4WD) ones but I think they are proper rocking horse these days ......... you want one of these: Ticks every box as far as I can see
  24. Always fancied it but never allowed myself (see also Championship Manager, any online RPG), but I love that video ............ out of interest, what would the "funeral" have consisted of? Just standing around or can you interact and stuff? And when they all got killed, were their characters dead or do they regenerate somewhere?
  25. I know Surrey is expensive but Lavenham, Long Melford and Clare are hardly cheap ........... nice area though, just down the road from me. Only thing Id mention is they are a bit rural if youre coming from a town, having to drive for essentials like takeaway food, cash machines and hardware shops can be rather annoying.
