    my NANKANG's

Ive used Nankang NS2's and found they were OK in dry, bit hairy in wet, Ive got NS2-R's on my 135i and for track tyres in winter they are pretty astonishing, looks like the NS20 are a grade down from the NS2 so probably not a great choice for a car like the 350. Its an old story but people recommend Falkens and Toyos for a reason ......
  2. I prefer BMW's to C Class and A4's, but if you want to waft about A6's and E classes are worth a look for sure
  3. 1. Where the hell are you getting your advice from, Ive read all of your posts and I think Ive been left open mouthed after at least 3/4's 2. If youre doing 120 down country lanes this isnt the best place to tell people about it Tyres make little or no difference to anything, alignment makes huge amounts of difference though - it sounds like youre suffering from bump steer combined with zero damping which is nothing to do with max angle kits, its more to do with the setup of the car in the first place. If youre fouling on full lock a hammer can sort that out and if you want light wheels thats great, but if I were you Id get the car driving properly before throwing any more money at it

    Tyre Stretch

Tyre stretch is no more a way of lowering a car than letting air out of the tyres as well. If you dont need it for fitment purposes its a bit pointless TBH.
  5. I get nicked everytime I drive in Europe these days, hire cars are not the one. EUR 25 fine and on your way generally, I dontt hink its anything massive to worry about
  6. Pretty much this, Rome is fantastic and everything is within walking distance.

    Brake pads

Ive got Carbon Lorraine CL06 and they are awesome, bit much if you arent doing any track stuff though. Also have Pagid RS29's on my Bimmer, similarly awesome but maybe not so much initial bite
  8. I cant say I like em myself, but chrome is a nightmare on wheels and ideally you want to go with 19's Any idea what they are called?
  9. Stormgirl, I remember her, could never figure out if I would or not, bit of a BOBFOC IIRC. She nearly ended up doing some Italian translation for me strange as it sounds Admin, the best best for this kind of thing is a locked sticky where the thread links can go in on individual posts otherwise it ends up as 10 pages of chat - we have one at SXOC and if I say so myself its bloody hilarious http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?509758-SXOC-Gold-The-Archive
  10. Youll find that even with the TCS off the stability control still fires the brakes on the front wheels. Either take it out completely or unplug ABS unit to shut it down completely
  11. Im pretty sure Ive seen it in front of me at Santa Pod and couldn't catch it up
  12. So when can I drive if I smoked a joint? An hour, a day, a week or a month? I doutb anyone would think you would be a menace to anyone after the latter three, but I guess we arent going to find out until people start getting nicked. What the problem with a roadside sobriety test is I dont know ......... but more than that, do the government realise that by introducing limits for illegal drugs they are implying that there is a "safe" and "legal" amount you can take? Is this the beginning of legalisation?
  13. I had this in my 306, went to brake and there was nothing, fortunately you dont really have to slow down for corners in that Checked once Id stopped and one rear brake pad had fallen out of the caliper and the other was well on the way - went beserk, got £100 or something but TBH it was a mistake, they happen so I let it go after that. Worrying though, Id certainly be looking for decent compensation on top of whatever its cost you already, good luck
  14. Thats a lot of lip for an ET20, is there much clearance on the brakes?
  15. Youre all totally wrong, flamez has got it - instant, huge torque all the way across the rev range is never a bad thing. Once they figure out the weight and range issues (less than 5 years I reckon) these things are going to be everywhere and people wont bother riding roller coasters anymore
  16. I reckon its between England and Wales myself, will see on Friday. Ticket prices seem to have gone up about 100% from last season though, and seeing as I didnt get any WC tickets despite sticking in for about £2500 worth, they can stick it up their arses quite frankly.
  17. The car is the Amuse 380RS Super Leggera, the last car that Tanabe made - it was 300lb lighter than a "normal" 380 apparently. The rims can still be bought int he States for $1500 a piece, the CH-R is similar and probably easier to get hold of - try Vividracing If you want the kit, someone has already beated you to it : http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/81753-ams-amuse-380rs-super-leggera-style-wide-bodykit-finally-arrived-from-usa-for-my-500hp-beast/
