-
TBH I dont know why we dont do that already, most of the rest of Europe will not pay benefit until youve worked for 3/6 months, I believe the Torys are including something along those lines in their manifesto.

What, if UKIP got in? Id be disgusted rather than surprised and would probably look to relocate. Horrible thought.

If spoilt vote gets the most, do they get to be in charge? I think the idea is that if spoiled votes get the most, then all three parties need to take a serious look at what they are actually doing, sadly this isnt in the constitution though

Its road dirt but theres a bit of stone chippage as well, Ill get some more pics up but it really doesnt notice when its clean
-
The second feller has come back and apparently despite it being better than described, hes not interested. Eh? So back up again, its still an exceptional daily/fast road/track car that draws attention everywhere and drives beautifully

As others have said, great cars but you have to work them hard to get the best out of them, you wouldnt regret buying one Except I bought a 135i instead and I certainly havent regretted it at all P.S. If youre looking at an E90 M3 the XFR, C63 and Lexus IS-F are all worth checking out too

Because of the 3.3Bn people that flew commercial last year, only 700 odd died and youre a pragmatist? Since I started working in aviation nothing worries me anymore, Ive seen firsthand the lengths that EASA, FAA and the other authorities go to and you would have to be so, so, so unlucky to be involved in an incident its not even worth thinking about. You can find me on the plane quite easily, Im the only guy cheering like hes on a rollercoaster when we hit heavy turbulence

BTW, Im currently running RE050A on front and MPSS on the back - the RE050 are too good to throw away but the RE040 arent ......

Didnt watch it but even from the clips it looks like Dave did slightly better, that said the only thing that would make me vote for Millipede is if part of his manifesto was "You can give me a dry slap - whenever you feel like it!!", I just cant imagine having him as the figurehead of our country for 4 years. Other Millepede is a different matter, they cocked up royally with that one. However, both seemed a bit underprepared - Ed MUST have known he would get asked about his brother and the fact that he is just a shyte imitation of him, Crazy Dave must have known he was going to get hit on broken promises, benefits being reduced in real terms and zero hours contracts - hell the last one is easy, its just a formal version of casual work, you arent limited to only having one ZHC on the go at a time. We used to have a similar system, it was called "cash in hand" except you didnt get holiday, sick or pension and didnt have any rights, you can have that one for free Dave He does seem a bit out of touch but since when has the PM been a man of the people, even B.Liar was a long way from your average bloke down the pub.

Aye, I think its a basic "youre more likely to get down in one piece" course rather than a full ATPL A Flybe F/O is also on less money than a BA Bursar would be, makes you think, particularly when one will have racked up 80K of training debts.

Now that IS a scary thought.

Wouldnt it throw up an ABS sensor fault code if that was the case though? Id bet a penny to a pound that replacing the O2 sensors will clear the other codes too
-
I got the impression from his tweets that train had just stopped and everyone had to get off. What was it, 22 series and 176 episodes? Thats A LOT.
-
MPSS all round, the RE040 is rubbish and the Michelin is a bit better than the RE050

Sad to say but I booked with Air France to Brazil a few days after the 777 went down, the prices were ridiculous cheap - any of these things is just bad luck, the aircraft are massively overengineered and overmaintained, the staff are second to none and flying is statistically safer than putting on your trousers.

Cherry Hinton is about 10 minutes from where Im sitting at the moment, I also have a heavily discounted TNT account, let me know if I can help

Funnily enough the crash report was released o the LAM E190 that went down in November 2013 - the co-pilot left the cockpit and the captain then locked the door and turned off various management systems before decking it into the ground. This would indicate that it was deliberate, and the CVR recording "repeated banging" on the cockpit door suggests that the crew knew what was happening

Another vote for wheels, I struggle to believe Nissan released the Z33 with some pretty poor efforts when they can look so good on just about anything else

I remember when we went to Blyton, IIRC it was my missuses first track day in her MR2. She went out with the instructor and as usual he let her do a lap on her own, when she got to the end they went back into the pits. After ascertaining that she hadnt ever played Forza or Gran Turismo and this is why she had no idea what the racing lines was they went back out for a few more laps - by the end of the day she was actually overtaking other cars, the difference was incredible. Tuition is well worth it, even with plenty of track experience if I saw an instructor free Id definitely go out with him

I am more than happy to do drift tutoring at Laguna Seca as well, in case anyone was wondering ........
-
With the greatest of respect to those saying otherwise, the right answer is to get the clutch down, stop the car spinning and then brake. If you get on the brakes while you are still spinning then as long as they arent locked it wont do any harm. I dont know of any drifter that doesnt let the wheel go on transition, you simply cant move your hands quickly enough from lock to lock if you dont ........ even Clarksons sliding improved considerably when he started letting the wheel move on its own. This can get you out of a mess if you have an unexpected back end slide on track, the quicker you can get to the lockstops the more likely you are to catch it. As for the second bit, why would you pull the wand, thats just going to rotate you even further and potentially onto wet grass at speed? Get the car straight with the clutch in, then footbrake to a halt, happy days.
-
That would probably just make the brakes fire at inopportune moments, Id say it was more likely a problem with the ABS actuator or a physical problem with the wioring harness P2001 seems to be O2 sensor related as well, something to do with NOx ........ good luck

If you had £15k for a fast daily - what would it be?
docwra replied to georgerobertfreeman's topic in Other Cars
Oh aye, no doubt you could use a D Type Jag or a Ferrari La Ferrari as a daily but I dont think many people would recommend them - that said I do remember having a chat with a guy who went out every morning to buy his morning paper in a Type 35 Bugatti -
Theres a set of Weds Kranze Bazreia for sale on Driwtworks, good price too ............
