Plenty of GT3's saw the back of my 350 while on track, youd be surprised Its a great handling car that carries a bit too much weight IMO - mechanical grip is very good and its very predictable, the front end is pretty unburstable as well. Add coilovers and I think its as good as anything for the money, the chassis being so predictable means you can press on harder than you would in a lot of other stuff, LSD as standard is always nice too

Whatever. You have a 30 day period to reject the car, I know, Ive done it.
-
If it goes within 28 days you can reject the car, thats the point - its not just about at the time of purchase with a trade sale.

Not quite true if a cars under 3 years old with a FULLY transferable MANUFACTURERS warranty, and add to that a FULL completed manufacturer service history. And if the clutch needs replacing after a week of driving? Or the brakes? Or anything aftermarket, or any other item thats not covered? Private is never going to be as safe as a dealer sale, even if you know the seller and the car very well. Dont know why youre shouting either

I had some on mine, was very impressed, no additional vibration and actually felt like it tightened up the front of the car too. They also dont fail like homemade lower arms might do, for instance

How long have you got? I can definitely find you someone who can fix it but it wont be overly cheap ......... Where are you based as well mate? -
The fact we are having a referendum at all is democracy at work, the result will be democracy at work and whichever party has to deal with the result will be democracy at work. And people are complaining about it? Bring back Stalin, maybe thats the answer.

I know three guys (count em, three) who make a living solely from buying and selling limited edition and classic Porsches. Ridiculous.

With the greatest of respect, quoting something you wrote yourself twice isnt going to make it more true mate. Mixing tyre compounds used to happen in EVERY major race series and manufacturers also supply tyres with different treads front and back, never mind different compounds and widths. Manufacturers like Nissan spend billions of pounds on development, true ......... and we then immediately rip off what they put on and run our favourites anyway. And this .......... Just isnt accurate, 2 RE050A on the front will stop the car quicker than NS2's all round. As Ive said before, run matched tyres all round if you can but having different tyres on two axles is not going to mean the car immediately drives itself into the next field.

Airbag light not on anymore? Thats a fault and no denying. Alternatively get an emissions check done on it, if the oil is coming out of the exhaust then this should prove it.
-
Maybe Im missing something here but whats stopping you just taking the car to them, giving them the keys and a letter of rejection and telling them you expect the money to be back in your bank account within 7 days? Forget everything else, if it failed MoT on the airbag light then you can return it and walk into the sunset.

Greece misrepresented their financials to get into the EU, and then failed to do anything about tax evasion or inefficiency of government until it was way too late. Thats not the fault of the EU anymore than Siemens winning the Thameslink contract and creating net 600 jobs. Similarly, whats the problem with our minimum wage being higher than other countries? The cost of living is higher too, and its not like you automatically get given a British persons job when you come through Calais. Our unemployment rate is the lowest in 10 years and GDP is high, why is skilled workers coming to the UK a problem? Migration crisis? What migration crisis? Hate to say it but it seems that a lot are already hearing the soundbites and repeating them without actually thinking about the actual situation.

Dont go too crazy stripping the car, take out what you need for the cage with a view to trying to get it back in again or you end up with a car thats painful to drive long distances. Id also not worry about power at this stage, its got plenty enough for much fun to be had. Not so important for a drift car but brakes are worth considering if youre tracking it, decent pads, braided lines and good fluid make a world of difference.

Surprised at the cussing of Cussler, Ive read all of the Fargo, NUMA and Im just starting on Dirk Pitt, they are hardly great literature but knock along at a good pace, see also Jack Reacher series, NYPD Red series too Michael Connolly books are great (Harry Bosch, Mickey Haller) and the Private Series by James Patterson are along similar lines - pacey, exciting and very easy to read. Im assuming youve read all of the Stieg Larsson, Jo Nesbo and Dan Brown books too, if not get them done

Conservative candidate round here as Robert Sturdy, the outgoing feller helped me out a couple of times and I liked Conservative manifesto best

Believe it or not there are people other than you who buy EV's My point was that the report saying that the Zoe was wonderful isnt really very real world for most people as they dont have those circumstances.

Coldel for EU president. I do business with a number of countries in the EU and even with free trade its not easy ......... but supplying into Russia, Turkey, even the US is incredibly more complex and risky and therefore more expensive, and as Gappysmeg says we would immediately become uncompetitive and this would be disastrous for us as a country. Remember, we dont have much in the way of natural resources, we dont do production and we dont have the space for agriculture - our GDP is mostly made up of Finance and Services and both are very dependent on being financially competitive.
-
First line: "Since delivery 10 weeks ago it has covered 1000 miles" Ive done more than that in the last 3 days, and Ill do more than 55 miles (its range when very cold) today alone. Not being funny but if youre doing an average of 14 miles a day and you want to be eco friendly a pushbike is a lot cheaper and doesnt need 9 hours charging every night. The report itself says "if you live in a city" but if you live in a city then why not use public transport for your 7 miles each way?
-
Col, what do you do for a living mate? You seem to be incredibly well informed, I thought I knew my onions but you are the Allium master
-
That looks awesome. Proper tough.
-
Coldel is still on the money for me. The problem is that a lot of people will boil this down to one issue, like a Greek bailout or immigration to the UK when theres actually a lot of stuff to consider. For me the main driver is its the economic side of things, and while theres a cost to being in the EU its a lot less than I think the cost would be of going it alone even before you start to consider the massive upheaval of pretty much everything relating to trade if we were to bang out. Similarly to Scottish devolution, there doesnt seem to be any plan or firm information on what would happen if we did leave, and you only have to look at Norway and Switzerland to be scared by that
-
Fair play to you mate, I dont think many will admit that and will just vote on hearsay. Not the good one with Mylene in either
