30 -130 is much better IMO - doesnt have the potential to cause drivetrain damage like a standing start and really tests the upper end of a cars performance too.
-
0-60 is a truly rubbish indicator of performance though, there are so many variables and its such a short time that it doesnt really tell you anything - I remember back in the early 90's when manufacturers were making 2nd gear a leetle bit longer so it would save 0.5 seconds on the time. Standing quarter all the way and a 350Z is at least a second quicker for this than an FN2 CTR

Said it recently before, if you leave it the belt will snap eventually. If its your alternator belt this means your battery will eventually go flat and youll end up stranded somewhere. It might just need adjusting but Id get it replaced, they arent expensive
-
100%, exactly what I said after a test drive, its even worse if you compare it to cars around its own age.

And actually, from the same article: Indeed, were further proof of Europe’s protectionist instincts needed,Brussels’ recent announcement that it plans to force Netflix to source at least 20 per cent of its content from EU TV makers makes the argument more eloquently than an Brexiter could. WT actual F? Youre comparing the future of my country with Netflix content? Who is this joker?

Apart from two major points: If the EU are so @*!# at getting trade agreements, how is an isolated UK going to fare? Quote: "For instance, while the EU has yet to ratify a single free trade agreement with a top 10 economy" ............. errrr, apart from the EU itself which is the worlds biggest economy. We also have freedom of movement with this economy, an agreement on human rights and multilateral VAT and other sales taxes. This is before going on to consider the terms of the Australian agreements, which I bet in the case of the Japan will be very skewed towards exports of natural resources and imports of technology. For obvious reasons.

Totally - the biggest risk is that the EU cannot support the debts of Greece et al and we all face a massive financial crash, but even in that case at least we still retain a strong currency and its likely it would affect global economy anyway. The actual cost of membership is neither here nor there IMO, we would just as quickly find something else to spend it on and we do benefit int he long run. My major concern is that a ridiculous bit of legislation would be imposed on us that simply wont work - we are forced to take 100,000 refugees a year when our infrastructure is already strained, a mad transaction tax is imposed when we are reliant on banking for most of our GDP, additional levies are applied to oil and gas production ....... but I dont think thats likely to happen as the EU is already so reliant on us. Reform would be great but it would be at the expense of the countries that need EU support the most, its up to you whether you consider that fair or not but I honestly believe we are moving towards global economic entropy amongst the vast majority of the population anyway, we need less borders and differences and more level playing field as a race, never mind a country.

Its the most watched programme in the world mate, they reckon it made them £50m in 2014 ...........

I liked it, it was a decent hours entertainment. Bear in mind that TG has massive global syndication so they were never going to stray far from the format in the first show, as others have said it took old TG a couple of seasons to hit their stride so its not reasonable to expect this to be perfect out of the box. You also have to remember that they need to appeal to people uninterested in cars, I think this could be why petrolheads geta bit antsy about it all. Extra Gear was exactly what I hoped it would be - a little edgier and much more technical and I can see it becoming very popular

Sorry to be that guy but even I know about TuV and I dont live in Germany/Luxembourg ........... For future reference H+R and Eibach spacers are TuV approved, and TBF they could quite easily argue that you are running Skyline spacers, or 200SX, or Evo 8, or Lincoln Town Car

Guess who went to a 40th birthday in France this weekend and didnt find out about the fuel strike until he arrived at his destination? Surely it wouldnt be that guy with the 3.0 twin turbo that averages about 22mpg on a good day? Y'know, the one with the miniscule 50 litre tank ............ Got back to Calais with about 13 miles left, mate in a Z4M had 2 (!) miles left and I havent heard from the guy with the 996 Turbo yet Not an amusing situation knowing that youre potentially totally knackered and theres bugger all you can do about it Oh, and for the record this is my 6th visit in a row to France that has been affected by some form of civil action, (2 ATC strikes, taxi drivers strike, rail strike, riots in Paris and Brussels) Im getting a bit tired of it now .......... -
Superb, love a TVR me. Burnout video for the lads?
-
Its hardly a Strad though is it? If its sub 10K miles and still has its original tyres then maybe its worth keeping, but storage will cost more than you'll make on it in real terms anyway. Other than that, and I know Ill get boo's and hisses, they arent different enough from a "normal" 350Z to become collectors items so just enjoy it like any other Z33
-
In my experience this is the best way to do wheels. Take measurements, do your research, ponder for a while then sod it all off, buy the wheels and make them fit. My 350Z was never supposed to be widearch you know ............

Im going to sit down and draw this when I get a chance. BMW's are crap for wheels

We are doing a darts theme this year, we all have custom darts shirts and are taking a couple of boards down so we can have a tournament. Stickers are "Japseye" in the style of the famous TV show -
Good for road but I wouldnt say "great" on track, theres as lot better out there for serious abuse purposes

My head hurts. First thing - dont assume that an M6 has the same clearance as you do, it probably has wider arches. Also bear in mind that lower offset means more inner clearance on the same width wheel, so you can reduce the spacer you need to clear the shocks. Finally, arch rolling will grab another 5-10mm of clearance, flaring will add another 5-10mm on top of that, camber maybe 5mm, maybe 10 depending on what you run. The best advice I can give anyone in this situation is to see what others have done and then try a few things yourself, and to that end Turner Motorsport reckon a 9.5 ET22 will go on the back of an E63 ..........

Just change the belts, I left mine and ended up stuck at side of the road with a flat battery after the alternator belt went "see ya". After a weekend trackday/party where I couldnt wait to get home. On a Sunday. In the rain.

We had a similar one on the SXOC, turned out the car we were pointing and laughing at was also a Time Attack Winner. However, Barryboys pulled a classic one off here: http://www.barryboys...pic.php?t=34111 The S15 was custom built for Phil Morrison of Driftworks and I think won a European title, a British title, various European events and ended up as a prize car in Live for Speed or something, the Blitz Skyline ......... well, from about 1:24 here: -
If they reckons it might be top end it could be worth a cheeky borescope down the plug holes, will be a lot cheaper than sump removal ......... but if youve done any kind of damage to the head or bores its probably going to be new engine time anyway
-
Precisely, its just one end losing traction before the other .......... exactly the same as if you were running 4 tyres that were the same all round, if they were 4 Fullrun Nogrips it would be happening a lot sooner than with F1's on the back and Proxes on the front as well. The TC doesnt do anything until a wheel starts slipping, and that is specific to the single wheel or tyre, not the combination of 4 tyres.
